The rumors are true. Autism activist Jenny McCarthy got fresh with a New York City policeman on New Years Eve when she grabbed him and kissed him on New Years Eve. Hanging out in the city to co-host New Years Rockin’ Eve on ABC with Ryan Seacrest and Dick Clark is what brings the comedienne to NYC. The former girlfriend of actor Jim Carey is extremely pretty and has no problem talking about being single or a single mom. Known for seeking that famous first kiss of the New Year every year, this years the ladies all say she picked a hottie. What great press for the police!
There may not have been any mistletoe hanging in the clear skies over Times Square in New York City on New Year’s Eve in 2011, but that didn’t stop Jenny McCarthy from planting a sloppy one on New York City police officer at the stroke of midnight, and Gossip Cop has the video and pictures to prove it.
The co-host of Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve with Dick Clark and Ryan Seacrest on ABC was in rare form to break in the new year in the first few moments of 2012 — as her tongue wagging started the rumor mills machine talking and gossiping about who she was seen kissing.

It’s not unusual to ring in the New Year with a kiss, but it is traditional to know the identity of the person one chooses to smooch. But for actress and author Jenny McCarthy, not knowing the name of the man she locked lips with in Times Square on Saturday night didn’t make the moment any less special. That’s because she shared one heck of a kiss with a New York City police officer.
Gossip Cop followed up with:
[Jenny McCarthy] explained to [Ryan Seacrest] moments later [after being caught on camera kissing] that it’s tradition to share a kiss at the stroke of midnight, and “I just happened to be standing with that hot cop.”
Apparently McCarthy had made her own New Year’s Resolution earlier in the evening, vowing via Twitter not to wait around for guys to ask her out and to just take the initiative. And she certainly lived up to the promise. Lady Gaga, you’ve got some competition on the “How Bold Can I Be” front. If Jenny McCarthy wasn’t already “Born This Way,” she at least made a good show of it. She was born a Marilyn Monroe blonde at heart and drop dead sexy.
Jenny McCarthy made sure to let Twitter fans not watching the live television feed know that the kiss was G-rated, as long as you consider a little butt grab not too over the top. And just as important to the green celebrity, she noted that her stylish fur was a fake. To that end, the New York City police department stationing a hot cop near the live show host probably was not coincidental either. The press for the department has to have brought them great accolades (as well as whoever he was a great deal of jealous ribbing).
But being known for kissing strangers and co-hosting with Ryan Seacrest is not the only thing notable about this particular star celeb. Jenny McCarthy is mother to an autistic son, having written a book, Louder Than Words, about her personal experiences. This green celebrity talks the talk, but walks the walk as well. She puts a lot of time and energy into supporting programs that work to better understand the condition. She’s a longtime supporter of the HEAL Foundation and Talk About Curing Autism. She also co-founded Generation Rescue with her ex, actor and comedian Jim Carrey.
Whether that kiss was meaningful or not, we’re sure former Playboy Playmate and personal friend of Hugh Hefner, funny actress, and talented comedienne Jenny McCarthy is going to do great things in the new year and well beyond.
Why?
Because she is one of the hottest celebrity moms on the singles scene. Any guy would feel lucky to get a big fat kiss from her on ANY New Years Eve, absolutely. The fact she is such a loving parent to her autistic child is just a bonus, really.
And as for Ryan Seacrest, why wasn’t he grabbing and kissing hot local New York City strangers to get himself more publicity? Because that lucky sot gets to kiss Julianne Hough — sister to Derek Hough, Dancing With The Stars professional, and new movie star who just played the lead in the remake of Footloose (the film first made popular by actor Kevin Bacon, founder of the charity website 6 Degrees — based on the pop culture game 6 Degrees of Separation). Somehow we bet Bacon and the hot cop are somehow related.
