Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie changing their minds about supporting gay marriage?

Are actors Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie changing their minds about having pledged not to get married unless marriage is a civil right afforded to everybody? If you read the latest celebrity interview the famous Hollywood heart throb just gave to the Hollywood Reporter (THR), you might see that he — more than she — seems to be backing down on their political statement they once made in support of the LGBT community.

“After seven years together, Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie have changed their opinion on marrying each other. They have previously stated that they wouldn’t get married until it was legal for everyone to marry, but Brad says he may have to go back on his word…” writes OK Magazine.

The celebrity gossip source quoted Pitt’s celebrity interview from THR and made quite a big deal about the fact that the devoted family man is tired of waiting to walk the aisle to stake a legal (and hopefully lifetime) claim on his gorgeous baby mommy.

“I’m not going to go any further,” he says. “But to be in love with someone and be raising a family with someone and want to make that commitment and not be able to is ludicrous, just ludicrous.”

Really Brad, really?

Imagine how people in the LGBT community feel right now reading your celebrity interview statements and knowing that while you and Angie have the right to choose to get married legally any time you want to be able to prove your love and devotion to friends and family that they can’t wed.

If Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie are secretly engaged — or even have had a private wedding ceremony — that would not upset the gay and lesbian community at all. But, a trip to the courthouse to fill out the papers to make a wedding legal after all?

It’s just not a smart publicity move for the celebrity couple. Not unless gay marriage is legalized in the United States as part of the constitutional right for each and every man, woman, and American child to pursue their own version of happiness with equal rights protection for all.

Brad Pitt confirmed he wants to marry Angelina Jolie?

There’s big news in the world of celebrity couples. Actor Brad Pitt is finally saying that he really wants to be married to Angelina Jolie. He does not want to wait for gay marriage to be legal or even the moon and the stars to align when the famous lovers can steal their friends and family away for a wedding not ruined by the flash bulbs and cat calls of over-eager paparazzi.

Pitt told the Hollywood Reporter, “We’d actually like to [get married now]…” And by we he means HE.

OK Magazine writes:

Brad tells The Hollywood Reporter of marrying Angelina, “and it seems to mean more and more to our kids. We made this declaration some time ago that we weren’t going to do it till everyone can. But I don’t think we’ll be able to hold out. It means so much to my kids, and they ask a lot. And it means something to me, too, to make that kind of commitment.”

So, Angelina Jolie friends and fans… what do you think? Should Angelina Jolie take Brad Pitt’s marriage proposal seriously?

Since the actor is getting close to 50 and his movie roles are starting to change from hunk to middle aged anybody, he’s gotten more and more sedate. Acting like a husband and being a great father seems to come quite natural to him despite his wild romantic past history.

Since he famously dumped actress Jennifer Aniston and hooked up with Angelina Jolie on the set of the action adventure movie Mr. & Mrs. Smith way back in the day, Angie rightfully should be worried about marrying him. After all, she’s in her mid-thirties now. What if he meets another leading lady on the set of one of his films and decides to trade up in the coming years for a younger and more up-and-coming hottie?
