That seems to be just what American Idol judge and Aerosmith’s legendary Dream On singer Steven Tyler is getting ready to do — the rocker wants to relax there if not retire. He’s just bought a grand mansion in Hawaii and is expected to make the luxury property his celebrity home for he and his new fiance. Lucky for daughter Liv Tyler and Steven’s grandchild that he bought it, because it is awfully hard to think about a nicer place that the Hawaiian isles to spend a family vacation!
The Wall Street Journal confirmed the celebrity real estate news, sharing:
Aerosmith lead singer and “American Idol” judge Steven Tyler has purchased a home on Hawaii’s Maui for $4.8 million. It was listed for $6.5 million.
On a quarter-acre, the 3,000-square-foot home has two bedrooms and 3½ bathrooms. Located on the water in a nature preserve area near Wailea, the pentagonal home has several outdoor decks overlooking the coastline. There’s also a floor-to-ceiling aquarium and an infinity-edge saltwater pool.

Tyler recently revealed that he and fiancée Erin Brady had the house ‘blessed’ before moving in.
Recalling his proposal to Brady, Tyler said: ‘I gave her the ring on Christmas Day and the next morning we flew to Hawaii and we were out getting our house smudged, what’s it called there, with a great kahuna? Christened, in a manner of speaking…
