The New York Post reports, “A British journalist [claims] that she was “saved” from being hit by a taxi cab on 6th Avenue yesterday by the Blue Valentine actor.”

“I literally, LITERALLY just got saved from a car by Ryan Gosling. That actually just happened,” said reporter Laurie Penny of The New Statesman. The writer took to Twitter on April 3rd to sing his praises.

“I was crossing 6th avenue in a new pink wig. Not looking the right way because I am from London. Ryan Gosling grabbed me away from a taxi.”
