A man acting like a real life Zombie from a Hollywood horror movie was shot and killed Memorial Day Weekend of 2012 in the Miami, Florida metro area. The incident happened Saturday May 26th near the offices of the Miami Herald Tribune. Aside from acknowledging the incident really did happen and was not a hoax, local police are keeping quiet about the disturbing crime. They are only publicizing the event asking for witnesses to come forward.

Allegedly, a policeman responded to a call to break up what he thought was a fight. However, when he arrived on scene, a naked man was perched atop his victim. The police reports indicate the attacker was eating the face of the live man. They have not revealed names to date of the man killed, the person he attacked, or the policeman who witnessed the incident and was forced to shoot to kill.

According to police reports, the officer told the deranged man to stop chewing on the head of his victim. When he refused, the policeman shot the aggressor. Despite the gunshot wound, the Zombie wannabe continued to bite the face of the man. Apparently, the officer again demanded he stop, the deranged man refused to end the assault, and the officer was forced to fire several more rounds before he was finally able to bring him down.

The victim, sources are saying, may have been a homeless man. However, his face was allegedly eaten so to date they have been unable to recognize him. He is alive an in hospital care. Authorities are remaining mum about the disturbing incident.

Because the policeman technically shot an unarmed man, there may be legal controversy related to his killing the assailant.

However, due to the horrific nature of the crime — one that may have been inspired by a fascination with Hollywood horror movie classics that relate to Zombies (such a “Zombieland” starring Woody Harrelson or Brad Pitt in “World War Z”) — it is likely that while he will be traumatized after witnessing the incident, he will be able to keep his job and won’t be prosecuted for shooting to save the life of the man attacked.
