On June 5, 2012 Amanda Bynes was formally charged with DUI in a California court system. The judge placed in charge of her case also oversaw the arrest cases for actress Lindsay Lohan.

Amanda Bynes was arrested in California under suspicion of DUI back in April of 2012. At that time she was arrested because she allegedly ran into a police cruiser with her car. The police officer (who she claims was angry at the time) asked her to take a breathalyzer test because the accident occurred at three o’clock in the morning. The actress refused and also subsequently refused a blood test. Now, she’s tweeted a public cry for help — asking United States President Barack Obama to fire the police officer who arrested her at the time.

Sad news about the health of singer Sheryl Crow has shocked Hollywood social circles since she confirmed the rumor that she does in fact have a brain tumor. On June 5, 2012 MTV news did confirm the songwriter with the sunny smile is battling a health issue that has put fans in fear for her life.

Enter Crow’s rep who says the musician is suffering from a benign (non-cancerous) lesion. “Half of us are walking around with [meningioma], but you don’t really know unless you happen to have an MRI,” the singer’s rep told E! News in a celebrity health update about the star. “[Crow] has no symptoms and everything is fine. It was a random mention during a [recent] interview. It was not meant to alarm anyone. She is doing great and is healthy and happy…” writes MTV news.
