Gorgeous George has a new bromance. According to Us Weekly, Channing Tatum, the star of  the new hit male stripper move “Magic Mike”, and his bride are allegedly overseas taking a break from their hectic lifestyle in Hollywood to vacation in the European country. While there, sources confirm they are staying with the beautiful blonde at the home of actor George Clooney.

Channing Tatum and his wife Jenna Dewan were spotted taking a romantic stroll in Italy accompanied by third wheel Stacy Keibler on or about July 17th, 2012. They have also been photographed boating with Clooney as well as been seen going out to dinner with the famous celebrity couple.

Their visit has led some inside sources to speculate that the young hunk might have caught the eye of the silver fox — possibly moving him up in pole position above former favorite fun boy Brad Pitt (as Clooney’s BFF). Pitt and Clooney have both publicly commented in the past six months that they have not been able to spend as much time together in the past few years as they would have liked, telling reporters during press junkets that they have other professional projects and obligations that have kept them too involved.

But according to sources like Entertainment Tonight and The Celebrity Cafe, Clooney is not fixated on making friends with the hot young male star to fill the bromance gap left by Pitt. Instead, the double date frolicking seems to have started thanks to girl power and his pro wrestler mistress.

The Celebrity Cafe shares, “While this might look like an odd couple to be hanging out together [Clooney and Tatum], a source tells E! News that “Jenna and Stacy are very good friends…They’ve been friends for a long time.”

The celeb gossip source then noted that, “Before the European rendezvous, the two girls spent Cinco de Mayo together in LA as well as sat next to each other at the Marchesa show during New York’s Fashion Week.”

As for Clooney’s love life following his very public split with past girlfriend Elisabetta Canalis, it looks as if he’s following the same pattern of keeping his latest female companion on his arm at least until the next awards season.

Emirates 247 further revealed, “George, 51, and Stacy – who have been an item since July 2011 – have been at Lake Como for the last month as the [older] Hollywood heart-throb enjoys some time away from [making] movies.”
