It looks like the less-famous Hilton hotel chain heir Nicky Hilton, baby sister to socialite Paris Hilton, is on the move. New celebrity gossip reports about the rich and famous say she’s selling her cracker box home in Southern California. Asking a pretty penny for a not-so-posh looking place, apparently her Realtor’s marketing tactic is to say the price buys any new homeowner or investor the “location, location, location” prize.

News that the home went on the market first hit the internet on July 18th, 2012. The house — one that sits across the street from a home Paris Hilton used to rent — appears to be fairly nondescript.

Realtor.com Celebrity Real Estate Blog reports, “The younger Hilton, who has scraped together a living as a handbag designer, is moving on from this ivy-covered white cube in West Hollywood, CA. The nondescript interiors of 4,000 square foot home are made even more so by a severe black-and-white color scheme, though the dining room does receive a bit of color from (of all things) vintage palm-print wallpaper. Not much of a backyard to speak of, though a swimming pool is squished in against the bordering hillside. Perhaps the home’s location just off Sunset Boulevard is the justification for its $3 million price tag…”

While the SoCal home might look modest for an heiress to own, but keep in mind her young age at the time of purchase. In all likelihood, this simple place was purchased originally to give her the opportunity to own and learn to care for a large house without the comfort of living in a space with family around.

The great granddaughter of Conrad Hilton, Nicky Hilton was born in 1983. Her siblings include Paris Hilton, Barron Hilton II, David Jacques Pierre Cogordan Hilton, and Conrad Hughes Hilton. Her parents were Richard Hilton and Kathy Hilton.
