Oh that rascally George! It seems Hollywood’s most famous bachelor George Clooney played a bit of a nasty trick on current girlfriend Stacy Keibler a wedding ring. But fans are actually a bit disappointed again to hear that the gift did not come with the coveted marriage proposal the leggy blond and her parents have allegedly been craving. According to celebrity gossip sources, the simple gold band was pretty and worth money, but the silver fox failed to impart any more meaning by footing the bill for the gift than for her to think, “… ooh, look! Shiny!”

Celebrity Dirty Laundry had this to say about the vintage or antique trinket, “WAIT. So, this wasn’t a proposal—it was just a ring. May as well have been a vacuum or a blender. I bet Clooney is regretting his choice of gift right now. Or do I have to remind you that Stacy is a former WWE wrestler, and her specialty is the roundhouse kick?” The pro wrestler’s legs have been a great source of commentary since long before she and George started hanging out romantically. Her signature romantic move appears to be standing.

In other Clooney news, the actor’s best friend Brad Pitt has been gearing up for an actual marriage. It seems that George’s taste for alcohol has also worn off on his famous friends. Pitt has allegedly picked out the wine list for the Angelina Jolie wedding reception. The two hung out in the spring and made tabloid news when the paparazzo claimed they were at his bachelor party when they went out for a late night of drinking.
