True Blood star celebs and real life romantic couple Anna Paquin and Steven Moyer are the proud parents of twins says The Hollywood Gossip. The actress who plays the character Sookie wed her co-star who plays vampire Bill Compton in 2010. The twin babies were born a few days early say the star’s press agents and both children are reported to be thriving, darling, and healthy.

Stephen Moyer has two children from a previous relationship, while the Oscar winner is a first-time celebrity mommy. The celebrities met on the set of the popular HBO series and fans of the show noticed the pair had incredible chemistry. When they announced they were dating both on-screen and in real life, no one was particularly surprised. However, when news broke the famous lovers had married, it can as a bit of a shock because Paquin had just released a PSA (Public Service Announcement) announcing she was bi-sexual.

Supporting the gay community and the advancement of gay marriage rights, the civic-minded star proved that gender does not matter. You love who you love without regard to sexuality. Now that she’s a celebrity mom with not only one but two new infants to love and care for, she’s expected to become a role model for all young actresses who have aspirations of furthering a career without sacrificing family values.

Moyer and Paquin are each expected to continue their work as main characters on the occult theme television show. While each have been involved with on-screen romances with other stars on the show, the cast members have only expressed that the sweethearts are absolutely devoted to one another.

While Moyer is a bit older than Paquin (she was born in 1982 and he was born in1969), their personalities and temperaments seem to make them ideal as partners both on and off-screen. The New York Daily News reports the TV stars are, “overjoyed” to be new parents.

As for the future of their roles on-screen, have no worries. The saga of the love story between Bill and Sookie will be continuing. “The actress and actor just wrapped Season 5 of True Blood and now have time to relax with their new additions before jumping back in to the filming…” says THG.
