Dancing With The Stars 2012 All-Stars got off to a great start in week one when home viewers voted to kick actress Pamela Anderson and her dance partner Tristan MacManus off the show for what essentially amounted to bad behavior. Who got voted off week two? A celebrity couple most fans of the show would not have expected. Even the celebrity judges and show hosts Tom Bergeron and Brooke Burke seemed a bit shocked by the results of the vote. Looking for a recap review that includes predictions about which star celebs are the ones to beat? Green Celebrity Network also reveals which stars were in jeopardy. Keep reading…

Ballroom dance competitions never seemed so difficult in the past. Typically, one or two couples hold and delete quickly on the hit reality TV show Dancing With The Stars. But what happens when you bring back an entire cast of All-Star competitors? You end up with the sort of quandary Show producers faced when they realized exactly which celebrity couple were being sent home at the end of the night on October 2, 2012. Here’s the results show recap and spoiler about who got sent home on #DWTS.

The results show began with Tom Bergeron telling viewers that part of the reason the show cast was so spectacular this season was because of the celebrities’ past accomplishments on the dance floor. Running video clips of past seasons most memorable dances and allowing each star to make comments about what they were thinking and feeling at the time, viewers were able to really grasp why so many of these stars had already taken home a mirror ball trophy.

For instance, Kelly Monaco, the gorgeous brunette who won in season one, was the first star of the show to endure a wardrobe malfunction humiliation. When the first strap on her pretty green dress broke during the live dance routine, she quickly tried to grasp her top. When the second strap broke, she literally had to hold the top over her bosoms through most of the fast twirls and turns — and in the process proved herself a true dance competitor. After all, the show must go on!

Sabrina Bryan was also showcased. Her defining dance of the past happened be one where she earned a perfect score. What was so remarkable about that? The fact that even though she earned three 10s for her performance, she was sent home. Dancing with Louis Van Amstel is likely to help her confidence and self-esteem but not likely to help her go all the way to the top with the mirror ball trophy. He is the awesome dance program helped reality television star Kelly Osbourne make it really far in the competition, but his bigger accomplishment was converting her into a fashion conscious lady. Nowadays, Kelly costars with comedian Joan Rivers on Fashion Police. Will the dance Pro be able to keep Sabrina on the show at least through the semi final round? Only if she attracts the attention of home viewers for something other than being one of The Cheetah Girls from Disney.

Joey Fatone is a huge Star Wars fan and used his passion for nerds sci-fi to help make an impression back during his original season. Wielding a bright green light saber the singing sensation attacked his partner Kym Johnson with picturesque passion. While narrating his feature episode that aired during the All-Star season, he made quips about converting the Jedi Knight from brute to smooth dance showman. As Bruno pointed out during his narrative, the tone strength might not be in technical excellence. Instead, he wins the heart of viewers with his showmanship. But is liking to watch him because he seems like he’s a fun and funny person to pal around with enough?

Apolo Anton Ohno won the mirror ball trophy on his season on dancing with partner Julianne Hough. Now, however, he’s dancing with Karina Smirnoff. Granted, she is smokin’ hot and modeled for Playboy and everything but she is not the blonde. What will happen as the competition moves forward? Hopefully more of everything — because the tension the Russian creates during workout routines for the Olympic athlete seem to be pushing him on to achieve greater things.

Helio Castroneves won his mirror ball trophy with Julianne Hough in a past season as well. But the racy competitor is either not quite as with it this season or the choreography by new dance partner Chelsie Hightower are lacking. While he could do no wrong in the past, his current efforts at dance routines landed him squarely mid pack amidst the sea of All-Stars. Yikes is all we can say because after his spectacular past season dances he seems to have slipped.

Melissa Rycroft and Tony Dovolani are dancing together again this season, making the All-Star event, just a little more flashy, fancy, and fun to watch. The perky brunette really puts her heart and soul into her characters and the dance routine. While her dance skills are perhaps better than some of the others competing, because she’s not as famous. She doesn’t seem to get as many votes from the home viewing audience.

Gilles Marini danced his first season with partner Cheryl Burke, putting credibly wise and thoughtful producers elected to pair him during the All-Star season with gorgeous newcomer Peta Murgatroyd. The tall dark and handsome French actor and the platinum blonde from Eastern Europe make such a visually striking pair. They are hard not to like looking at even when they’re standing still. Once they take to the dance floor or are animated in any celebrity interview conversation, it’s tough to watch the couple while keeping your mouth closed. With jaw dropping perfection, these two sexy stars seemed to caress the camera film. Likely to go all the way, one hopes his injury will not limit his dancing ability. The poor thing pulled hamstring muscle the morning of the premier.

Shawn Johnson and Derek Hough are partnered for the All-Star show but we have to admit we miss seeing the Olympic gymnast dancing with her last partner Mark Ballas. Shawn was only 17-years-old when she won her mirror ball. Now that she’s all grown up, she is still darling (unfortunately). Why is being cute a bad thing for her this season? Because she’s competing with other stars who dance as well or better than she does but they exude sexy. She’s likely to make it to the finals with the help of hot Derek’s sizzling choreography — but win the who enchilada? Meh. Not likely.

Little Drew Lachey also won a mirror ball trophy in the past. Mortified by his low scorers on the première episode of DWTS All-Stars 2012, he seemed to be in his glory, watching his past dance performance with previous partner Cheryl Burke. This season, the singer is working with a new pro — Anna. While he and Cheryl clearly have fantastic chemistry, he and Anna seemed to work together more like vinegar and oil. Hopeful that their routines will improve the season, the celebrity appears to be willing to do whatever it takes to keep his hat thrown in the ring. But will his enthusiasm enough to keep he and Anna in the competition?

Safe couples who will be returning to the DWTS ballroom to entertain American viewers for week three after the celebrity judges’ scores and votes were tallied week two include:

  • Shawn and Derek — likely to make the semi-finals
  • Apolo and Karina — likely to make the finals
  • Emmitt and Cheryl — likely to make the semi-finals
  • Gilles and Peta — likely to make the finals
  • Sabrina and Louis
  • Melissa and Tony
  • Kirstie and Maks — likely to be voted off
  • Bristol and Mark — NO COMMENT
  • Drew and Anna
  • Joey and Kym were in JEOPARDY
  • Kelly and Val were in JEOPARDY
  • Helio and Chelsie in JEOPARDY

Joey Fatone and Kym Johnson After all was said and done, Kelly and Val were safe. Joey and Kym and Helio and Chelsie landed in the bottom two. America elected to send Joey Fatone and Kym Johnson home week two of the All-Stars 2012 season — which was a shock to everybody. A live performance by Katherine Jenkins, the Welsh opera singer who partnered with Mark Ballas and wowed everyone last season, helped ease tensions. She sang a lovely duet with Placido Domingo then announced she’s running her first half-marathon for charity the coming weekend.

What do you think, readers? Did voters send the right celebrity home week two?
