Earning spots in the Top 20 Celebs Gone Good, these famous humanitarians and green celebrities all have spent the past year using their star power wisely. Latin beauty queen Eva Ekvall died from breast cancer on December 17th after an unsuccessful battle to treat her malady in the United States. A former Miss Venezuela turned actress and news anchor, died on that Saturday after showing her family and friends she bore the illness with both poise and grace. After being diagnosed, the former beauty queen and Latin icon used her star power wisely in her final days.
