Beyonce Knowles and Jay-Z are happily married and expecting their first baby. To make room for their new addition, they have also been house hunting for new places (as well as remodeling old place in the Northeast by adding a nursery). But it seems to be the great real estate deals happening right now in the Sunshine State that has captured their attention while house hunting. The Hollywood Reporter shared the news on December 10th, 2011 that the celebrity couple were allegedly cruising Miami, Florida looking for a new property this past week. The house that peaked their interest most seems to be none other than the luxury home of Latin singer Ricky Martin.

They write, “A very pregnant Beyonce Knowles and husband Jay-Z appear to be prospecting new locales for their new addition. The couple made a highly-publicized trip to Miami last week for a little house-shopping.”

Accoring to the celeb gossip source, “TMZ reports the chart-topping couple toured Ricky Martin’s Miami Beach house, one of two the Latin singer owns in the Sunshine State.”

Real estate records show the oceanfront luxury estate is located in what the Hollywood Reporter calls, “the area’s well-heeled La Gorce Golf neighborhood, known locally as a golfer’s paradise, but perhaps more widely as a celebrity-dense enclave.”

Although Ricky Martin is gay, he is the father of two darling kids. For that reason, his old family home might be the perfect starter family house for Beyonce and Jay-Z — because it is already likely to be toddler proofed and play area equipped.

There is no better reason in the world to consider up-sizing (rather than down-sizing) a celebrity home than the birth of a new child, and it looks like the famous Duggar family are at it again. The reality television stars are having another child, growing their pack to include twenty children if the mom makes it full term.

Based in Tontitown, Ark., the Duggar family has become the symbol of what is both right and wrong in today’s world. The mom and dad, Jim Bob and Michelle, are already parents to Joshua, 23 (a man who is married with two young children of his own), twins Jana and John-David, 21; Jill, 20; Jessa, 19; Jinger, 17; Joseph, 16; Josiah, 15; Joy-Anna, 14; twins Jedidiah and Jeremiah, 12; Jason, 11; James, 10; Justin, 8; Jackson, 7; Johanna, 6; Jennifer, 4; and Jordyn, 3, and little Josie, 11 months.

In a day and age where having children with reckless abandon seems morally and socially responsible (because on the burden more lives place on local eco-systems and the environment), this Christian couple chooses to disregard global concerns for sustainability and is setting their own faith-based example.

Will they actually chose to move and buy a bigger house this year to make room for the new nursery? Not likely. Because the ages of their children range from having kids in their twenties to having another baby in diapers in the newly constructed home, the family will likely re-use baby cribs and nursery toys the oldest baby will be ready to outgrow as she approaches being a toddler (right about the time a new baby will be born).

Re-use and recycle seems to be the family mantra. [We guess someone forgot to mention reduce.]

The Duggars actually built their dream house recently with the help of  TLC. “They put their noses to the grindstone and started designing their 7,000-square-foot home from top to bottom, inside and out, and they got what they wished for. TLC was even on hand while it was being built and when the family moved in, chronicling the events with the special, The Duggar Dream Home...” says Love To Know, a reality TV blog.

Rumor mills like US Weekly are reporting that pop music singer Beyonce Knowles is building the Taj Mahal of all baby nurseries. The fabulous Beyonce’s due date is not unlit February of 2012, but sources close to she and rapper husband Jay-Z say she has already had the architects and interior decorators get started designing and planning to build an enormous baby nursery at the celebrity couple’s home in NYC.

“Beyonce and her husband, Jay-Z, live in an elegant apartment in New York’s Tribeca neighborhood; which is most likely going to be the location of the nursery…” wrote one celebrity gossip source.

She went on to suggest she feels the lavish room is going to be way too big for a newborn baby. Why? Because Us Weekly claimed the celebrity baby will have a nursery that is going to be a whopping 2,200 square feet — not exactly cozy!

But that writer was not the only blogger or entertainment news source to be critical about the real estate rumor that the star celebs are remodeling too extensively.

The Stir further added where the star celebs plan to build the ultra-luxe baby-bump mecca, sharing:

You think [we] exaggerate when I say Beyonce and Jay-Z’s baby-nursery-to-be could house a few families of four; sadly, I do not. Indeed, the superstar couple is understandably excited for the arrival of their first child and, therefore, have mega-nursery plans in the works for Baby Beyon-Z, who is due in February. We all know these famous first-time parents rake in oodles of dough. However, you are not going to believe how big a nursery they are planning in their Tribeca apartment in New York City…

Actress Sharon Stone has listed her celebrity home for sale and according to the property tax records and real estate listing, she’s planning to take a beating on the price she’s asking for it. As a green celebrity, she has donated money and spent time volunteering for causes like Project Angel Food and American Foundation for AIDS Research. Taking a hit on her investment portfolio due to the housing crisis, she’s going to have a little less money to throw around in Hollywood if she sells her house at the loss anticipated.

Eagle Tribune writes the Basic Instinct movie star is selling her home for far less than she paid for it, presumably marketing it at the lower price point in the hopes of getting a quick sale.

They write, “Actress Sharon Stone’s Mediterranean estate has hit the Beverly Glen real estate market for $8.995 million. The super-private compound is a typical piece of celebrity real estate, set back behind a gated driveway, hidden behind walls and secluded from neighboring properties.”

Singer Christina Aguilera just sold her mega mansion according to celebrity real estate reports. The Grammy winner is a world famous pop music singer. She recently made headline news as a move actress who co-starred with Cher in the movie musical Burlesque.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, “Aguilera is rumored to have sold her 6,500 square foot home in the Hollywood Hills at a loss, as reported by the celebrity real estate website RealEstalker. The actress purchased the four bed bedroom and seven bath house for $5 million in April 2003.”

Realtors say the luxury home has been on the market since April 2008. In no big shocker during the housing market depression, it sold for roughly $3 million dollars less than its original listing price of $7.995 million.

Adding to the new divorcee’s financial woes are the fact she allegedly dumped over $350K into remodeling the property.

Maybe that is why celeb gossip sources are reporting she has been packing on the party pounds in recent weeks. The economic recession has the blonde starlet’s spirits down?

Trading weight loss for willingly suffering through a financial loss to force a quick sale on celebrity home might turn out be a better bargain in the long run, as the fat lady can always sing to earn more money.
