On Jan. 18, 2013, NBC News reported, “Six years after the death of Playboy Playmate and reality-TV star Anna Nicole Smith, her Studio City, Calif., home has sold.” The proceeds of the sale, after applicable taxes and just payment for real estate commissions, will go to benefit her daughter Dannielynn said the mainstream media outlet.

The house was originally purchased in April 2005 for $1.335 million. At that time, Smith used her birth name Vickie Lynn Marshall to acquire title. One of the bedrooms was decorated for a little girl — presumably her daughter Dannielynn.
