TRUE BLOOD NEWS AND PHOTO GALLERY
Why are we developing a True Blood News page under the heading “Hot Topic 411″ on a green celebrity news page?
Besides the fact that the love triangle and drama between Sookie Stackhouse, Bill Compton, and Eric Northman is so dark and delicious it sucks the light out of a room while heating up the temperature (which we think is pretty cool), the True Blood books and HBO series are taking a seriously close look at CIVIL RIGHTS and GAY RIGHTS using the mythological idea of VAMPIRES coming out of the closet and demanding equal rights.
As a social and political statement vehicle, the show rubs of in all the right green places. Well, there’s that and the fun facts that while we are out here falling more and more in love each episode with the Louisiana waitress, absolutely cheering for LaFayette, and rooting for TEAM ERIC, we are hoping that the premise of recycling gets applied and the show’s writers will bring back to life Sookie’s grandma, Eggs, and Carl rather than Maryann’s Maenid character.
We have our more meaningful reasons, too.
For example, we are starting to follow the careers of Hot Celebrities from True Blood to see what they are doing with all their star celebs power. Thus far, we are please to say we can certify that at least four of the top stars from the HBO True Blood summer series might not be 100% eco friendly all the time, but they are going green for sure now that they are able to put their star celebs power to use giving human rights issues a voice –
