When she showed up on stage to perform live at her latest concert wearing faux assault rifles strapped to her bosoms, even USA Today posited that it might be time for her to retire her gun bra from her garish publicity arsenal. But that’s not the strangest thing she’s done this week to capitalize on free publicity. There is also a rumor going around that she might be buying the home of deceased singer Michael Jackson. Charlie Sheen’s ex Brooke Mueller is finally off probation. That is the latest celebrity scandal update about the troubled real estate mogul. On Jan. 18, 2013, Fox News reports that TMZ was the first media outlet to care or notice.

According to the source, “Charlie Sheen’s wild ex-wife Brooke Mueller is no longer on probation, The website claims the party girl has been obeying all laws following her cocaine possession case, so the judge and prosecutors decided to end the probation. She has been in and out of rehab several times.”

On Jan 15, 2013, the New York Post reported that NBC might be filming a comedy pilot about the life of Jessica Simpson. Contact Music confirmed the new television show rumor while trying to be supportive of the starlet they call a, “vapid” celebrity. They even suggested that a sitcom about her life even be funnier that watching MTV’s “Newlyweds: Nick and Jessica” star make a fool of herself back in the day week after week on reality TV.

Calling it (essentially) the “Fashion Star” version of the Lucille Ball show, Contact Music reported that executive producer Ben Silverman is claiming, “Jessica Simpson is truly a modern day Lucy with an credible comedic chops.”
