The rumors have been flying since December 2011 that the celebrity couple have been fighting. Since they allegedly had a huge blow out over Christmas, both star celebs have been spotted without their wedding rings. A rumor mills report showed Katy Perry without her wedding ring first, but in all fairness she was swimming at the beach in Hawaii. But Russell Brand, not to be out done, was seen gallivanting around London without his wedding band (flaunting it). Now, he confirmed to the tabloid Hollywood Life he filed for divorce. What was he thinking? We think the star of Arthur and Get Him To The Greek is acting like an idiot. Keep reading…

Hollywood and luxury product vendors will miss North Korea’s Kim Jong Il
Easily one of the least humanitarian celebrity leaders in history, Team America movie character Kim Jong Il suffered an overdose of the Western lifestyle he loved so much. He had diabetes and heart disease, ultimately succumbing to a heart attack. One lesson he failed to learn was one of moderation. It was his excessive policies and excessive control that ruined North Korea. It was his excessive and hypocritical personal taste that ruined him. One wonders if his son, Kim Jong Un, the new leader of North Korea, will take note of that lesson. Want to know more about why luxury product vendors are missing the eccentric dictator? Keep reading…
George Clooney openly supporting gays and gay marriage (finally)?
The Wrap (an entertainment news website) reports Clooney will star in a one-night-only production of “8”. The theater production will happen at the Wilshire Ebell Theatre on March 3, 2012. Who else was on the list and why? Keep reading…

Actress Anne Hathaway is engaged! While she did get panned for her Oscar host appearance in 2011 with actor James Franco (and subsequently lost a re-up to comedian Eddie Murphy — who then quit and is being replaced by funny actor Billy Crystal to host in 2012 [at the Kodak Theater in Highland on Sunday February 26th]), she got big kudos for her performance in The Devil Wears Prada with Meryl Streep. She’s also well remembered for her work with Julie Andrews in the Princess Diaries. The actress has been busy the past year filming the new Batman movie Dark Knight Rises with actor Christian Bale. She’s playing Catwoman. Keep reading…
Christian Bale Bails Out: No new Batman movies after Dark Knight Rises?
Batman actor Christian Bale says he quits. but seriously. Won’t the movie franchise be better off without him? With Bale playing Batman (instead of someone like green celebrity George Clooney — who devotes countless hours of his life helping Hatian earthquake victims and people at risk of genocide in Darfur), headlines about the movie franchise tend to read things like “Bale went Ballistic” and “Christian Bale Rant (Transcription)”. Because the comic book hero is supposed to represent an iconic image of a virtuous role model to kids, can’t they cast someone better than him? Keep reading…
