Rumors swirl Justin Bieber to be the next teen celebrity on DWTS?

Romeo, rapper and current celebrity dancer on Dancing with the Stars with partner Chelsea Hightower, has said he’s got a big surprise in store for Justin Bieber fans. Romeo is encouraging voters to keep him in the running for the Dancing with the Stars for season finale surprise featuring Justin Bieber. If he competes, chances are he would be even more likely to make the top three than former teen celebrity Bristol Palin.

Romeo tells Hollywood Life:

“All the Justin Bieber fans, y’all can vote for me as well. If you all keep voting for me I’ll have a surprise, something with Justin. I can’t really tell but if I make it to the finale, it’ll be a great surprise for Bieber fans,”

He has some other advice for voters as well. Romeo says Justin Bieber would have no problem getting votes on Dancing with the Stars, as popular as he already is, and the Biebs already has some dance moves lined up, but Romeo confesses that ballroom dancing is not nearly as easy as it may look, and it’s a far cry from the kind of on-stage crooning the singer and teen heartthrob is accustomed to. Eyelash batting and hair flipping (what left the Biebs has of it) won’t cut it on DWTS.

Nevertheless, Justin Bieber and the charismatic rapper Romeo have worked together before. A remix of “Baby” by Justin Bieber features Romeo. And Romeo feels confident that whatever he has in store for Bieber fans on the finale of DWTS is sure to please. Is it all a bunch of hype, or do Romeo and the Biebs really have something in the works? NeonLimelight.com shows Romeo and the Biebs playing celebrity basketball together a few months ago. As if the name Smirnoff does not already evoke a sense of wicked lifestyle and debutant debauchery, Karina Smirnoff (no relation to the vodka brand) from the 2011 season of Dancing with the Stars will be featured in the May issue of Playboy magazine, People magazine reports. But it could be hot water for the dancing career of the Ukrainian hottie, who dances with celebrity actor Ralph Macchio, the original Karate Kid, say sources.

“If Karina posed naked [for Playboy], she can kiss her dancing days goodbye,” a ‘DWTS’ insider told PopEater’s Rob Shuter immediately after hearing of Playboy chief Hugh Hefner’s announcement on Twitter. “I hope for Karina’s sake that this isn’t true.”

Well, it is too late it seems, if People Magazine is to be believed. The entertainment journal and its relates sources are all quoting the DWTS professional dancer beauty and saying:

“I’m fearless and love the adrenaline rush,” the dancing pro, 32, tells Playboy, underscoring the point by posing nude in the May issue.

“The May issue of Playboy is unforgettable with Dancing With The Stars’ Karina Smirnoff on the cover and nude inside,” Hefner tweeted on Wednesday.

Hulk Hogan makes big wrestlers of little people in new reality TV series about midget wrestling?

We know, we know. It sounds all wrong but celebrity athlete Hulk Hogan is at it again with a new reality television series tentatively named Micro Wrestling, reports RadarOnline. The show will highlight the backstage lives and training of little people in professional wrestling. Micro Wrestling currently is in production, and Hulk Hogan will be the man and mentor behind the big aspirations of these little athletes.

While Hogan is no stranger to reality television & he’s starred in Hogan Knows Best and Brooke Knows Best & the reality television show Micro Wrestling is a return to wrestling for the professional wrestling superstar.

RadarOnline.com reports:

The Hulk (a.k.a. Terry Bollea) will be the man behind the wrestlers: “He’s the guy who inspires, recruits, trains and mentors them. He’s been involved in every step — only this time it’s on a smaller scale,” his attorney David Houston tells RadarOnline.com exclusively.

“It will explore the fascinating world of wrestling on the scale of little people,” he adds. “It will show their extraordinary physical capabilities and the true strength of people of that stature.”

There is an established history for little people in sports. The Dwarf Athletic Association of America (DAAA) “is a nonprofit organization created in 1985 to develop, promote, and provide quality amateur level athletic competition opportunities for dwarf athletes in the United States.”

Some have criticized Micro Wrestling as just another attempt by the green celebrity professional wrestler to capitalize on his own antics, as he was criticized for doing with reality television shows Hogan Knows Best and Brooke Knows Best, but Micro Wrestling may do a lot to bring attention to the quality sportsmanship and abilities of little people. Green celebrity Hogan still is suffering through a costly divorce from his ex-wife Linda.

Bravo for smart PR! The Bravo Channel is shaking up the television cable lineup by nixing their lame Real Housewives of DC series and adding a new cast member to their Real Housewives of New York reality television series.

Cindy Barshop is the new name to know when it comes to watching reality television stars. It seems that she has landed a new gig on the wild show hosted by the ladies of NYC thanks to her interesting and… artistically innovative specialty service and luxury products industry?

According to the Stir:

[Cindy Barshop] was working in telecommunications for IBM when she learned about Epilight, a machine that uses light to permanently remove hair, and decided to open her first spa in New York City in 1998 to make the innovative service accessible to the masses (of rich New York ladies). Barshop now has nine stores across the country. They like it, they really like it.

The stores have done well for Barshop too, as she’s the breadwinner for her family of three — and apparently goes to the Hamptons from time to time. It probably didn’t hurt that she’s also named as the inventor of vajeweling, a fun and sparkly crystal application for decorating the vagina — which I’m pretty sure is just like the ever-popular vajazzling. Because, how did we ever live without vajeweling? Her spa also offers “vatoos,” pretty but temporary airbrushed designs for your sweet spot.

As for what happened to the DC housewives reality show that was supposed to feature the most provocative of Washingtonian women, it seems the viewing masses found the cast boring.

While the Real Housewives of Atlanta, Real Housewives of New York City, Real Housewives of Orange County, and the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills shows all did well, the Mid-Atlantic ladies fan base was less than interested in continuing to watch what the wealthy ladies were doing.

The creators of Jersey Shore have issued a casting call for a new Mother-Daughter reality television series, and if you think Snooki, JWOWW, and The Situation are bad — just wait until you see the mom and daughter pairs they hope to dredge up! Jerry Springer auditions ought to slow down if this reality TV show revs up. Details below.

How likely is it that the new show will feature any eco-friendly celebrities? Not very. However, simply due to the ridiculous factor, we half way expect there to be pampered pets that make an appearance at some point with at least one pet friendly mom or soon-to-be celebrity kids.

We also hope that no matter how crazy the AND SHE’S YOUR MOM show gets that it will have a bit of the Housewives flair, in that moms with means typically will c=participate in some way raising funds for charity.

Keep your fingers crossed, GCN readers, that they elect to feature divas of decadence who hold fund-raisers at local country clubs more than tarts from trailer parks who don’t go farther than the local pub. Since the Judds were already taken by the Oprah Winfrey Network, it will be interesting to see if any star celeb moms and Hollywood starlet girls audition for this casting call.

As a green celebrity, NeNe Leakes is competing to benefit Atlanta Union Mission to support My Sister’s House for Women Against Domestic Abuse, but as a Hollywood celebrity who gained fame as a reality television show star, fans want to know… who is this woman and why is she famous? [Even if it is only in her own home town.]

Linnethia “NeNe” Leakes is a native of Queens, New York, and mother of 18-year-old Brice and 9-year-old Brentt, according to Essence magazine. And while she also is a green celebrity, she certainly brought the New York attitude with her to Housewives, and she is poised to do the same for Celebrity Apprentice. If anyone was cast to play the role of antagonist on Celebrity Apprentice, NeNe Leakes is a prize choice.

In an interview with Essence magazine NeNe Leakes said of her appearance on Housewives, “We’re going to bring a lot of fun, a lot of drama. We are five fun, fabulous girls. We’re very smart, we’re businesswomen, we’re go-getters, we’re moms, and I think everybody is going to absolutely love the show. We do have our differences here and there. I really wanted to do the show to get my name and business out there.”
