Nations from all over the celebrate World Environment Day (WED), launched for the first time by the United Nations General Assembly in 1972. World Environment Day calls for a day of action for positive environmental action. Leading the way for the much-anticipated event are Hollywood favorites, green actor Don Cheadle of Hotel Rowanda and green billionaire supermodel and actress Gisele Bundchen, have pledged to plant 1-2 trees for every green activity done in their name.
