I recently went to see the new animated film Cars 2. Some parents say I may be looking too deeply into the children’s movie message, but what I saw was an animated kids movie that was red not green. Despite the very real fact the film was fun, funny, had an all star cast of character voices (like actor Owen Wilson, comedian Larry the Cable Guy, and Hollywood celeb Michael Caine), I left the theater deeply disturbed. To give you a brief overview, it’s about friendships and who is the better racer between the car star Lightening McQueen and a new race car from another country. Now, my impression is that one of the main characters was supposed to represent Sir Richard Branson, a famously wealthy environmentalist. Part of the story line is a competition between bio-fuel vehicles and regular old gasoline automobiles. The movie was visually stunning as an animated project. The lesson most kids seem to be taking away from seeing the film was that bio-fuel products are inherently dangerous and their use should never be trusted.

SYTYCD Celebrity Gossip: Does Lady Gaga think you can dance?
It has been a big year for Lady Gaga. She has been named more wealthy than any other pop star and her net worth actually surpassed Oprah Winfrey. She’s been a mentor to the American Idol contestants and had her pornographic shoes blurred out on national television. The star celeb has both helped Japan and been sued for allegedly skimming money from the top of her charity. However, despite her superstar status and controversial fame she is willing to engage with a live studio audience and take on a position as a celebrity judge and mentor on national television.
TV Live reports:
It’s official: Fox’s hottest summertime commodity, So You Think You Can Dance, will add some sizzle to its current season — and maybe give its sliding ratings a boost – with a helping of Lady Gaga.
The theatrical performer will serve as a judge on the series sometimes before its finale in August, a Fox rep confirmed for EW.com, echoing that which Nigel Lythgoe hinted at during a recent press call.
Before you get all excited thinking Mother Monster will be a regular on the reality TV show, there is more news. The celebrity gossip reports about Lady Gaga say she’s only agreed to appear as a guest judge for an episode (or two if fans are lucky).

Justin Bieber new girlfriend Selena Gomez not acting like Miley Cyrus?
When Gen Me pop music singer Miley Cyrus first started showing off her naughty adult side officially to the general public, she did so with a really racy music video for the song “Can’t Be Tamed”. Parents were disturbed seeing the video — and many of her Hanna Montana fans who loved watching her grow up on the Disney Channel responded overwhelmingly negatively. Then the news came out that Miley had been living with her older boyfriend Liam Hemsworth at her private estate under the supervision of her celebrity parents for more than a year when the two had their first big split. As rumors emerged that she was fooling around with older rock star Bret Michaels from Poison quickly turned to stories that her mother was actually the one who allegedly was the love interest, she and Miley’s dad Billy Ray Cyrus split.
While all of this very adult brew-ha-ha was going on, Miley’s fellow Disney Princess Selena Gomez had actually been moving up the celebrity gossip ladder, making her way from being a relatively unknown D-List star to being a prominently featured Disney face. How, she started dating younger teen celeb Justin Bieber. The curious part about her rise to fame is not that she started dating, but the fact that despite considerable public displays of affection with the young star, she’s managed to keep her own image wholesome. Unlike Miley. And she is proud of it. Why? Keep reading…
Celebrity Homes: Why should Obama put solar panels on the White House?
There is a growing push again to get President Obama to put solar panels on the White House and eco-friendly activists who believe going green is tied with patriotism have been chatting heavily in forums about the debate as we near the Fourth of July holiday 2011. Want to learn more about solar power systems and why the United States president needs to keep his word about putting solar systems on the White House in Washington, DC? Keep reading…
The Bachelorette: No chance Chantal O will be next single girl on reality TV?
Chantal O, the Bachelor contestant who was wrongly dumped by commitment-phobe Brad Womack on the version 2 re-installment of his series last season, turned down The Bachelorette 2011. Instead of seeing the daughter of the sports team from Seattle get a chance to meet a bevy of beautiful bachelors and get a chance to kiss each and every one on national TV, we all are getting the chance to watch Ashley H. While Ashley and her emotional neediness have been riveting, she herself has not been very entertaining. One would think a smart Bachelorette like — say — Chantel O would have been a better choice for reality TV. So why did the ever so lovely and vibrant dumpee tell the producers the polite version of how to get stuffed before signing on again to a new reality show on TV? Keep reading…
Celebrity Babies: Denise Richards new baby adopted domestically, why?
Celebrity Babies!
American Denise Richards adopts new baby girl domestically, not overseas?
[Jun. 30]
While star celebs like Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt adopted children abroad from third world countries, all-American girls like Denise Richards and new single mom Sandra Bullock chose to adopt a child domestically. Why didn’t they adopt a baby overseas? Adopting a child is a difficult process. It requires extensive paperwork, typically lengthy interviews and home visits, and takes a great deal of time under the best of circumstances. While adopting a puppy from you local animal shelter now takes more time and trouble than it used to, so does adopting a new baby. If you adopt a child domestically, the amount of travel you have to do is limited — and for Denise Richards, was most likely a factor in deciding where to adopt her new baby.
