The competition on Celebrity Apprentice 2012 got fierce on May 13th when Donald Trump revealed the name of the second person he decided to fire last week. John Rich and Marlee Matlin helped the Donald make his decision about who to keep and which star needed to hit the elevator. Rich won last season when Matlin took second. How much did their interviews of the potential job candidates influence the boss? Apparently a lot.
Celebrity Apprentice 2012 had a host of personalities that ranged from wild to mild, but no elimination round was quite as dramatic as the one that began on May 6th but did not end until May 13th. Last week, Donald Trump fired Lisa Lampanelli after last year’s winner John Rich and runner-up Marlee Matlin told him to give her the kibosh. Announcing he would fire a second person, he kept viewers waiting to hear which person was the next to go. Everyone watching was totally worried about which two stars would stay and who would be the one to go.
Clay Aiken (the former American Idol competitor) plays for the National Inclusion Project. He’d been very diplomatic for the most part throughout. He was scrutinized for being less of a leader and more of the follower.
Donald Trump was hard on Arsenio Hall for having sworn in the past at and about co-star Aubrey O’Day. He stood by why he was angry but apologized for using language that was inappropriate. Hall said if he got the Donald Trump stamp of approval, he would make it his goal to make the benefactor proud for the rest of his life.
Aubrey O’Day was criticized for being beautiful and intelligent but not worldly or mature. Complimenting her and saying she had a big career in front of her, she did not see it coming when Trump said she was transparent and that she was fired. When she left, she whined and complained. The inside scoop about why the celebrity was fired was pretty easy to figure out. Her huge ego played the reality TV star out.
The two finalists for Celebrity Apprentice 2012 were named as such. Clay Aiken (who played the game for his special education foundation) and Arsenio Hall (who played the game for the Magic Johnson Foundation, an A.I.D.S. charity) moved forward to compete at Lincoln Center for the final competition round.
