America’s obsession with Hollywood culture and putting celebrities in challenging situation on reality TV continues. Dancing With The Stars fall season in 2012 featured the best of the best and some crowd favorites when the new show cast premiered on ABC Sept. 24. Thirteen celebrity couples took to the dance floor that fateful first night of the competition and the most predictable thing happened. The two celebs who danced the worst out of all the competitors found themselves in the bottom two spots for both points and with viewers as predicted. Or did they? Keep reading…
Who got voted off DWTS 2012 All-Stars after dancing on night one? The reveal on Sept. 25th was an outstanding show that really put the spotlight on which celebrity couples were hot or not. Even though singing stars like Pit Bull and Justin Bieber performed live, the only real thing most viewers appeared to be interested in was which star celebs were moving on in the competition and would be able to dance again in week two.
Safe couples who will be returning to the DWTS ballroom to entertain American viewers more after votes were tallied week one include:
- Shawn and Derek
- Apolo and Karina
- Joey and Kym
- Helio and Chelsie
- Kelly and Val
- Emmitt and Cheryl
- Gilles and Peta
- Sabrina and Louis
- Melissa and Tony
- Kirstie and Maks
Controversial contestant Bristol Palin and Mark Ballas found themselves in jeopardy alongside surprising disappointments Drew Lachey and Anna Trebunskaya. Drew was a previous Mirror Ball Trophy winner but his lack of chemistry with his new dance pro was immediately evident. But they were not the low scorers on night one — and neither was Bristol. Pamela Anderson and Tristan MacManus also bottomed out on the leader board after having earned the lowest score.
But once again, Sarah Palin fans and a large block of voters who are conservative Republican but enjoy watching sexy ballroom dancing shows voted to keep Bristol on. She was declared safe and Mark did the happy dance.
The first celebrity couple voted off Dancing With The Stars ended up being Pamela and Tristan. While we were sad to see a green celebrity like her go home, her dance routine really was not up to the same performance level as the other stars — despite the fact the former Baywatch babe is 100% veggie powered.
Pamela Anderson has advocate people eat a vegetarian or vegan diet for years now. She’s also been one of the most outspoken Hollywood celebs who defends animal rights. She and romantic partner (ex-husband) Tommy Lee of the rock band Motley Crue are also both pet friendly.
