Controversial Sarah Palin smart enough to impress young voters like Bristol Palin?
Bristol Palin thinks her mother Sarah Palin would make a great president of the United States because of how smart she is, and the celebrity teen mom from Alaska is really annoyed at anyone who does not share the same sentiment. “The biggest misconception about my mom that really irritates me is that she’s dumb,” Palin told a book store outlet rep in Arizona prior to a book signing for her new money-maker memoir titled Not Afraid of Life: My Journey So Far. According to the former Dancing With The Stars contestant her mother is, “… so smart, and if anyone had a conversation with her they’d realize that … she’s a whiz.” Does mama grizzly inspire that much confidence among older voters? Not really. Most folks who are well-educated or who have a high IQ realize that while the Tina Fey look-alike is highly marketable as a candidate, it will not be her bright lights behind the eyes that would get her taken seriously as a candidate. Rather, if she does run, it will most likely be her ability to appeal to the lowest common denominator of society with her good looks, passion for spinning conservative rhetoric, and her “I’m just like that country girl next door” charm she’s famous for wielding faster than an Obama insult or a hunting rifle. Cars 2 Review: Green cars bio-fuel subject of ridicule in Pixar film?
I recently went to see the new animated film Cars 2. Some parents say I may be looking too deeply into the children’s movie message, but what I saw was an animated kids movie that was red not green. Despite the very real fact the film was fun, funny, had an all star cast of character voices (like actor Owen Wilson, comedian Larry the Cable Guy, and Hollywood celeb Michael Caine), I left the theater deeply disturbed. To give you a brief overview, it’s about friendships and who is the better racer between the car star Lightening McQueen and a new race car from another country. Now, my impression is that one of the main characters was supposed to represent Sir Richard Branson, a famously wealthy environmentalist. Part of the story line is a competition between bio-fuel vehicles and regular old gasoline automobiles. The movie was visually stunning as an animated project. The lesson most kids seem to be taking away from seeing the film was that bio-fuel products are inherently dangerous and their use should never be trusted.
Celebrity Homes: Why should Obama put solar panels on the White House?
There is a growing push again to get President Obama to put solar panels on the White House and eco-friendly activists who believe going green is tied with patriotism have been chatting heavily in forums about the debate as we near the Fourth of July holiday 2011. Want to learn more about solar power systems and why the United States president needs to keep his word about putting solar systems on the White House in Washington, DC? Keep reading…

Can tweeting about binge drinking ever be a good thing for a celebrity?
[Jun. 25]
Samantha Ronson, a celebrity who is admittedly a hard-core lesbian, has been a very vocal LGBT activist for years — which in and of itself is a great thing. The trouble is, as a night club DJ she is also very much into partying and seems to show only a big smile on her face when it comes to talking about parties, partying, and living the high life in Hollywood social circles with ex-girlfriend Lindsay Lohan and gal pals like Juliette Lewis. On July 25th, 2011 Samantha Ronson tweeted the following via her verified celebrity account on Twitter @samantharonson, saying “Yup….. My head is gonna hurt tomorrow, but we all know it’s worth it! @chateauLV and #hennyblack http://say.ly/zUhrIq”. That’s bad, right? Not exactly. While Samantha Ronson might be a bad influence on Lindsay Lohan, her celebrity endorsement tweet promoting binge drinking the liquor Hennesy Black might just be a good thing. Here’s why. Rumor is that pet-friendly Sam donates all her celebrity tweet money to a variety of charities. To that end, she’s on our list of green celebrities to watch and give props to when she does good things for her community.
Celebrity Health: Dramatic confession about Farrah Fawcett death emerges

Dramatic confession about Farrah Fawcett death emerges from actor Ryan O’Neal?
[Jun. 21]
Pin-up poster girl Farrah Fawcett cancer death caused by what? Her emotional health — not her physical medical condition? Talk show host Piers Morgan knows how to get provocative quotes out of celebrities during celebrity interviews on TV. His latest victim? Farrah Fawcett, the former supermodel and Charlie’s Angel who died in 2009 after a long bout with cancer. How did she become his latest celeb gossip subject? Because her long time live in lover and actor Ryan O’Neal is promoting himself — and he made some very controversial remarks to Morgan about her celebrity health and fitness status in the years prior to the death of the actress most famous for her red swimsuit poster, big Texas smile, and her once sunny disposition. O’Neal claimed that Farrah was a health activist and a happy person before getting emotionally entangled with him and his toxic family. Her step-children (essentially) might not have been bound to her by blood or marriage, but their dysfunctional family antics certainly contributed to making her otherwise charmed life full of absolute misery. After spending so many years with the star and his celebrity children, something happened to take the focus off them and put the spotlight back on her own life and emotional wellness: she was diagnosed with cancer, a type that ended up being fatal.
