Celebrity Stoner Dave Chappelle who famously walked away from his hit television show on Comedy Central is denying a June 15th media news report that claimed the star celeb is planning to make a comeback career move with a return to television. The online gossip tabloid called, “The Daily wrote the former Comedy Central star was plotting to reboot his TV career by making a deal with a subscription service like Hulu or Netflix that would allow him a strong amount of creative control…” shared EW — a leading entertainment news journal. Their reporters contacted Dave Chappelle’s PR people to verify the breaking news report and got a disappointing laugh. “Absolutely untrue,” was the official word from Chappelle’s rep Carla Sims. Her denial of the rumors famous Dave — the conspicuously pro-marijuana activist — came circa June 16. More happy news about the actor and comic was that despite the fact that there will likely not be another new Chapelle show series or episode airing on Comedy Central any time soon was that Chappelle will continue to do live stand up comedy.

Justin Timberlake might have been a Mousketeer and a pop star in the boy band N’Sync but he certainly has never been a goodie two shoes. Timberlake shared news with Playboy magazine in a June 2011 interview that the talented singer might be obsessed with music but he is not even considering writing news songs for an album this year. He further told Vanity Fair magazine that his seemingly favorite pastime is smoking marijuana, claiming it helps him relax and shut his brain off from thoughts and worry about the music industry and his new career acting as a movie star in hit films like The Social Network and Bad Teacher. Marijuana news and Justin Timberlake don’t seem like phrases that should go together — considering his remarkable success keeping his own reputation squeaky clean. Even though Justin Timberlake started out early in life acting like a Playboy and dating his pick of celebrity honeys like singer Britney Spears, actress Cameron Diaz, and most recently movie star Jessica Biel, he was always the one who seemed to be the most straight-laced.

Since the Facebook film The Social Network came out, the question of whether or not Justin Timberlake smokes pot started to swirl. Why now? Most likely because his ex-girlfriend Cameron Diaz has become a more outspoken advocate for smoking marijuana and to legalize pot. The timing of issues — along with the failure of Prop 9 to legalize the sale of marijuana in the great state of California back in November of 2010 — brought the question to a head and now Timberlake has conclusively answered.

Bottom line, Sunday night, June 5, 2011, surprised a lot of Twilight fans and the fallout from the big gay kiss staged between the two Twilight actors has been mixed. Robert Pattinson, who was publicly expected by teen fans and Twi-hard parents to plant a steamy kiss on girlfriend and Twilight movie series costar Kristen Stewart, was expected to repeat the Best Kiss scene with his real life girlfriend from the film. Instead, he taunted his girlfriend that he did not feel like kissing her in front of the Twilight fans watching live from home on TV. Then, the clearly excited RPatz opted to plant a big wet gay kiss on costar Taylor Lautner instead of playing up the smooch factor with KStew. Was Robert Pattinson kissing Taylor Lautner bit really because either actor is a closet gay teen or simply media play?

Few believe either one is gay, what with Robert Pattinson coming out as dating costar Kristen Stewart. The pair of course are the star couple in the hit series as vampire Edward Cullen and human Bella Swan (to be married in Breaking Dawn, the latest in the Twilight series). But Taylor Lautner as Jacob Black has been left surprisingly alone throughout the Twilight series. This leads a lot of people to wonder if the character as well as the actor might actually be gay, despite claims to the contrary. On TwilightBlog, there was an entertaining April Fool’s fake interview with Taylor Lautner, in which he purportedly admitted that he was gay. Of course, that has continued to spark rumors about the 19-year-old’s lack of a love interest. Is he really just too busy with work to have a girlfriend? For a character competing with Robert Pattinson’s Edward Cullen for the love of Bella Swan, one would think Lautner, chiseled as he is, by now would have a girlfriend everyone knew about. But nope. And what is more, there are still people who love the Twilight movie actors Taylor Lautner and Robert Pattinson who still believe the two men never kissed — and that the viral videos and photos of them in a lip lock in front of a live studio audience at the MTV Movie Awards 2011 are really fake! But no, Twihards — RPatz did plant a big ‘ole smooch right on the lips of his sexy Twink friend in front of God, the television views, and even Kristen Stewart that evening of the very special popcorn awards date.

Actor Milburn Stone played the character called Doc. TV shows back in the day featured complex plots with simple story line development, so viewers were engaged with the show on both an individual episode and long-term series level. Gunsmoke originally aired on CBS television, but is now a television show most would look to find as re-runs on cable network television stations or that folks would seek to buy on DVD to watch with their kids and grandkids. Why? Because during the time Gunsmoke aired the show sought to promote good morals. People lived off the land in a more sustainable way with respect for the environment. Relationships were less complex and the focus in daily life was placed on community harmony. There was a clearer sense of right and wrong the TV show portrayed back in the day — something noticeably from many modern television series. Dr. Death Jack Kevorkian was a humanitarian who didn’t choose assisted suicide for himself? In an Associated Press report, the Washington Post shared very real trivia that Dr. Jack Kevorkian had claimed to have assisted at least 130 people commit suicide. “Those outraged by what he did accused him of being unethical and playing God.” However, in the case of Jack Kevorkian and his celebrity death, it seems God decided the right time to take him. Jack Kevorkian, known as Dr. Death for his right-to-die advocacy, has died. Kevorkian who was an unapologetic supporter of assisted suicide, died at age 83 early Friday morning at William Beaumont Hospital, a Detroit area hospital in Royal Oak. Kevorkian had been hospitalized for kidney and respiratory problems, according to the Huffington Post. Surprisingly, in spite of his advocacy for assisted suicide, he did not take that option himself. “It’s not necessarily murder,” Kevorkian told Mike Wallace in a recent celebrity interview for television. “But it doesn’t bother me what you call it. I know what it is…” said the convicted felon. Dr. Jack Kevorkian had been nicknamed Dr. Death, following a string of assisted suicide cases in the 1990s. While Kevorkian had been acquitted on murder charges for several of the assisted suicide cases, he ultimately wound up in prison on a 10 to 15 year prison sentence for second degree murder. He served eight of those years and had been released from jail as a celebrity senior citizen and cult folk hero back in 2007.
