The Dark Knight Rises!
New Batman movie audio clip kinda creepy say disturbed but intrigued movie fans?
[May 23]
An all-star cast is set to make The Dark Knight Rises the hit of the summer for 2012, but hints also are suggesting it may be the creepiest of the Batman franchise. Warner Bros. by way of @TheFireRises tweeted an audio clip for The Dark Knight Rises on the movie’s official website, and the clip has gone viral. The official page is all black with nothing more than the music clip that sounds like a cacophony of Lord of the Rings dwarven chants, tribal jungle music, and a machine shop thrown in for good measure. Fans can follow the Twitter account to see more images being released one page at a time. Batman fans, beware. This could be the darkest of the Dark Knight series yet if the Batman movie audio clip gives us any indication of the tone of the new super hero movie to come — as some are saying it is kinda creepy while others simply find the sound bite disturbing.
The Dark Knight Rises, the latest in the Batman franchise, is slated for release in the summer of 2012. It will be directed by Christopher Nolan, who directed The Dark Knight (2008). Batman again is played by Christian Bale, a favorite from Batman Begins and the first Dark Knight. And Morgan Freeman once again will serve as the business adviser for Bruce Wayne, Batman’s alter ego. Anne Hathaway will be playing the villain Catwoman. And the new nemesis, Bane, will be played by Tom Hardy, who starred in last year’s summer hit Inception, also directed by Christopher Nolan.
