Thanks to girls like Miley Cyrus, Britney Spears, Lindsay Lohan, and even Christina Aguilera it’s even getting hard to call any girl a Disney princess without it sounding less like praise and more like an allegation. That’s a little sad, actually — mainly because so many young girls look up to the famous young singer and think that what she does is cool (long before they are old enough to understand that being the raunchiest girl in town might get you a lot of attention but it is not always of the kind PR one necessarily wants). Disney princess Demi Lovato, pop rocker and former star of Disney’s Sonny with a Chance, recently opened up to Seventeen magazine about alcohol and drug abuse and her road to recovery. The Disney princess, who left the network to deal with issues of bulimia and cutting, admitted to “self-medicating” with alcohol and other drugs, in an attempt to numb her personal pains. And she didn’t go it alone. She had much love for besties Selena Gomez and Miley Cyrus. Humanitarian JR Martinez co-hosting All-Star tribute to military heroes
Actor JR Martinez from All My Children won the Mirror Ball Trophy with dance pro partner Karina Smirnoff on Season 13 of Dancing With The Stars in 2011. Following a dreadful injury obtained while serving his country, JR Martinez took up acting. Landing a gig on the soap opera All My Children, he went on to become an inspiration to cast, crew, and all the viewers. Now he is also an Unsung Hero award winner thanks to Lois Pope’s Lady in Red Ball. The charity benefit organizers presented him with the award on December 2nd, 2011.
