As a result of her promotion of the most unhealthy recipes she could possibly create, celebrity chefs like Anthony Bourdain are being extremely critical of her. Since the Food Network behind the scenes rumor is she’s been in talks for years to pitch a new diabetes drug for Novo Nordisk, she has not gotten any sympathy for her disease. Celebrity chef Paula Dean has diabetes rumors remain unconfirmed?
Celebrity chef Paula Deen, known for her foods rich in down-home Southern heritage (and butter, and fat, and cholesterol) was going be announcing on the Today Show that she has Type 2 diabetes.The news she may be ill first broke in a UK tabloid that was panning her for her unhealthy cooking. In May of last year, the National Enquirer also reported that the plus-size chef had been diagnosed with the potentially deadly disease. Type 2 diabetes is often associated with obesity.
