Bottom line, Sunday night, June 5, 2011, surprised a lot of Twilight fans and the fallout from the big gay kiss staged between the two Twilight actors has been mixed. Robert Pattinson, who was publicly expected by teen fans and Twi-hard parents to plant a steamy kiss on girlfriend and Twilight movie series costar Kristen Stewart, was expected to repeat the Best Kiss scene with his real life girlfriend from the film. Instead, he taunted his girlfriend that he did not feel like kissing her in front of the Twilight fans watching live from home on TV. Then, the clearly excited RPatz opted to plant a big wet gay kiss on costar Taylor Lautner instead of playing up the smooch factor with KStew. Was Robert Pattinson kissing Taylor Lautner bit really because either actor is a closet gay teen or simply media play?

But Taylor Lautner as Jacob Black has been left surprisingly alone throughout the Twilight series. This leads a lot of people to wonder if the character as well as the actor might actually be gay, despite claims to the contrary. On TwilightBlog, there was an entertaining April Fool’s fake interview with Taylor Lautner, in which he purportedly admitted that he was gay. Of course, that has continued to spark rumors about the 19-year-old’s lack of a love interest. Is he really just too busy with work to have a girlfriend? For a character competing with Robert Pattinson’s Edward Cullen for the love of Bella Swan, one would think Lautner, chiseled as he is, by now would have a girlfriend everyone knew about. But nope. And what is more, there are still people who love the Twilight movie actors Taylor Lautner and Robert Pattinson who still believe the two men never kissed — and that the viral videos and photos of them in a lip lock in front of a live studio audience at the MTV Movie Awards 2011 are really fake! Movie series like the Twilight Sage have proven to be the biggest winners of fan votes the past few years, and the star celebs in them have pretty much cleaned up when it came time to take home the MTV Movie Awards. Video releases of new movie trailers or box office hit films that remind viewers why individual films were nominated or hype a new movie coming out are a big hit. Robert Pattinson has put a ring on it. Or at least vampire character Edward Cullen has put a ring on Bella Swan in the highly romantic and highly anticipated followup in the Twilight series, Breaking Dawn. Kristen Stewart was spotted on the set of Breaking Dawn in Vancouver wearing the wedding ring, according to Hollywood Life, and it leaves a lot of people wondering just how hot and heavy things are getting between K.Stew and finally publicly outed boyfriend Robert Pattinson (as if anyone really ever thought they weren’t a couple).

Additionally, there are some movie stills that appear to show a different ring on Bella Swan, as she puts her hand on Edward’s chest in the upcoming film. That one looks like an engagement ring. Definitely appears to be a rock gracing that left hand of hers. In the film, Bella and Edward take off to Rio de Janeiro to consummate their marriage, according to Socialite Life. Edward finally agrees to transform Bella, who nearly dies trying to give birth to the vampire baby, according to KStewartSource.com, and the birth of the child starts a “perilous chain of events that pits the Cullens and their allies against the Volturi, the fearsome council of vampire leaders, setting the stage for an all-out battle.”

But back to the rings! Fans are hoping Kristen Stewart is getting used to wearing that ring Robert Pattinson puts on her in Breaking Dawn, even though there are young women the world over swooning still over Pattinson. But R.Patz seems ready to move it up to the next level if his comments are any indication — eventually.

Will Kristen Stewart will be heading out to see celebrity mom for Jules Stewart Mother’s Day? Apparently not, says one commenter on the site, making it a two strike deal related to KStew and Mothers Day celebrating. As for parenting, it looks like the only mom in the house for the day will be young Kristen Stewart herself — as a pet friendly puppy mommy. Rumors have it that “new parents” Robert Pattinson will be meeting up with Kristen and their mutually adopted dog Bear in Toronto for Mother’s Day.

That sort of qualifies her to be a mom herself, right?

Hollywood Life reports that Bear is the adopted kid of Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart, having rescued the pup from a shelter in Baton Rouge. Bear was a rescue dog, the site reports, who was almost ready to be euthanized!

Aww. The two of them played regularly with Bear on the set of Breaking Dawn, and sources have it that proud dad Robert Pattinson even lets Bear sleep in the bed with him.

Wonder if KStew is jealous… just call him the Dog Whisperer.

Twihards, brace yourselves. Breaking Dawn, the latest in the Twilight franchise, is ramped to be the most gory and visceral film yet in the series. While we’ve heard that the sex scenes filmed for Breaking Dawn are going to be, shall we say, titillating, Kristin Stewart and Robert Pattinson have confirmed that the birth scenes may have an even bigger impact on the audience.

Director Bill Condon told Entertainment Weekly:

“We shot everything — whether it’s the lovemaking or the childbirth — as potent and powerful as it can be. It will be interesting to see whether there will be people who think it too disturbing for this universe.”

And Kristin Stewart wishes it were even more gory. Regarding the PG-13 issue, the Huffington Post quotes Stewart as saying:

“It’s funny because when [the PG-13 issue] comes up, everybody thinks it’s all about the sex. The birth is really effective, and I’ve heard it really hits you in the face. But what it could have been? It could have been shocking and grotesque, because that’s how it was written in the book. I would have loved to have been puking up blood.”

But in spite of the darkness and gore that will be a hallmark of Breaking Dawn Parts One and Two (the first to hit theaters November 18, and the second to arrive about a year later), Kristin Stewart also says the wedding scene is very powerful. “And it was just so perfect for me in that moment. It was so emotional in such a real way,” she told Entertainment Weekly. In a real way, hm? Maybe she is fantasizing about the real thing with Robert Pattinson and not just the Bella and Edward mock wedding.
