Celebrity Style Check! Say YES to the Golden Globe Awards Dress (but just say NO if it is a copy cat version of another star celebs style that looks like it came off a department store rack)?

How did some of our favorite green celebrities fare on their walk down the red carpet at the 2011 Golden Globe Awards? Here’s a quick rundown of the dresses and ball gowns star celebs wore the worst and best dresses assessed by the hot trend fashion magazine analysts and Arts & Entertainment Journals critics — including the ones that were Celebrity OOPS copy cats:

  • Anne Hathaway in “modern pink armor” gets a big YES from Style Magazine; real women worry if she snagged on anything she might unravel
  • Nicole Kidman in Prada looking shining in white for Keith Urban her night gets a “not challenging”
  • Angelina Jolie wearing Versace a MEH, as the dress somewhat engulfed the celebrity despite the flattering color
  • Catherine Zeta Jones and Mila Kunis in tiers of green Vera Wang looked gorgeous
  • Lots of sleeves covered most; Halle Berry kept things fresh, hot and black with a sexy ultra-short mini gown with veiled side and back covering (Bruce Willis may have been the star celeb who admired her the most)
  • Olivia Wilde owned the red carpet in a sparkling chocolate ball gown with $1700 Christian Laboutin pumps wowed the crowd and stylists, too
  • Natalie Portman pretty in pink with a blush baby pink ball gown highlighting her new baby bump without showing corves off over the top
  • Jayne Lynch black evening dress style knocked it out of the park for 40 and up fashion
  • Sandra Bullock got lost under heavy bangs and in a “comfortable” pink dress… we’re worried she’s exhausted taking care of her new baby Louis and tried to make herself look less than a sexual threat to good friend Scarlett Johansson (who was in the audience, not giving interviews, and obviously distressed over her pending divorce to Ryan Reynolds — whom Bullock has been seeing socially as a friend without his soon to be ex around)… but the creepy part was the gown she wore looked almost identical to Scarlett Johannson in her own pink dress [we felt bad for both of them]
  • PLUS weirdest dress goes to January Jones — who looked like she was wearing a Valentine’s Day massacre version of the outfit on the hot chick in the movie the 5th Element (Mila Jojovich wore the look a kajillion times better)
