Brad Pitt, that handsome but smitten bachelor, is making women all over the world cry again with news emerging that he is handling all the wedding planning for his bride to be. Angelina Jolie has apparently given him carte blanche to plan their upcoming nuptials. Allegedly he is the one — not she — who has been day dreaming about marrying his baby mommy and is so gun-ho to do it that he’s stepped in and taken over the wedding planning. The Sun claims Hollywood actor Brad Pitt has flown in a team of professional builders and architects to help him finish remodeling and renovating the provincial European homestead he shares with actress Angelina Jolie. Located in southern France, the absolutely gorgeous historic estate may prove to be the perfect place for a late-September wedding date. It seems to be the place where he’s planning to make the green celebrity Miss his Missus, not at their other home in the French Quarter of New Orleans.
Insiders say the hunky actor has been organizing every detail for their wedding and reception, but before you start feeling bad for him being over-worked it is important to note that the celebrity couple is allegedly only planing to invite twenty or so special guests. Bottom line, unless you are inviting the Queen of England, Prince William, and Kate Middleton, planning a party for so few people and with an unlimited budget is probably going to be fairly easy.
But bad Brad might be making things too easy. Celebuzz reveals that the star celebs might now even bother to print wedding invitations — which is a shame because they would be really cool things to use as keepsakes for guests. Apparently her cousin dished dirt to them saying that they are not even planning to pop for invites because so few people are actually coming and the pair don’t feel like fooling with the time involved in contracting professional printing.
If you think about it though, seriously, twenty people is not very many people. Making personal phone calls to ask people to attend (in that case) [as well as paying their airfare and travel expenses] might be a socially acceptable thing. It’s just surprising because not paying for wedding invitations sounds pretty cheap as opposed to trendy. But then again, these two never were much for tradition!
What’s more, while most might assume that it is she hoping to wed the world famous bachelor quick, it is actually he (Brad Pitt) who is eager to make Angie commit. One Sun source claims, “Angelina isn’t so bothered about when they tie the knot – it’s Brad who is piling on the pressure. He wants the main house to be finished when the event takes place, even though the close friends and relatives who are invited aren’t the types to care.”
So why the rush for a fall wedding? Most likely because Brad Pitt knows being married to Angelina Jolie is actually his golden ticket. “He wants everything to be absolutely perfect…” claims the Hollywood insider. But perfection includes finally marrying the woman he co-parents six children with — a woman who makes far more money for her film roles than he does.
If they marry without signing a pre-nup, it is he who actually stands to gain more fiscally than she does in the event they ever do split.
Regarding the details of the wedding, however, the celebs are remaining tight lipped. Celebuzz reports, “Few details have been released about Pitt and Jolie’s wedding, though it’s been reported the Moneyball star has been meticulously planning their big day, even down to the placements and hymns.”
Nearly all the major media news sources and Brangelina fan sites are reporting the hot Hollywood couple are planning to get married at their sprawling estate Chateau Miraval in France. Vows will be said in front of the handful of special guests and not other people will be invited to the wedding reception.
One can safely presume the feel Brad Pitt will be going for will be timeless elegance. However, you can expect the love birds won’t keep the ceremony strictly traditional. After all, this is Brad and Angelina (and they are not necessarily a typical romantic couple).
While there is no official word yet about what part their children will play in the ceremony [if any], their six children Maddox, ten, Pax, nine, Zahara, seven, Shiloh, six and four-year-old twins Knox and Vivienne are sure to be up front and center. They seem to be the force behind mom and dad finally being willing to tie the knot. At least, that’s the story their famous parents gave when pushed for answers about why they got engaged and might be planning to wed before gay marriage is legal in all 50 United States. They blame their celebrity kids.
Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie have been together since they fell in love on the set of the hit film “Mr. & Mrs. Smith”. Pitt was married at the time to actress Jennifer Aniston. They pledged they would not wed until such a time that anyone in love could get married regardless of sexual orientation or ambiguous gender.
