Green celebrity royal family member Prince Harry is rumored to have a serious girlfriend once again. Forget Chelsy — meet Cressie! On Feb. 22, 2013, USA Today reported that the handsome prince is courting another leggy blonde, a girl named Cressida Bonas (someone who they think is a celeb look-alike for his former girlfriend). But get this — Cressie’s blue blood pedigree in international social circles is even better than that of his ex girlfriend.
Here’s some royal family trivia for you…
The new girl is from a famous banking family, jet sets with Princess Eugenie, and spends most of her time vacationing at five-star resorts while looking pretty. [She’s a model and aspiring actress in case anyone is wondering.] She and Harry allegedly had a fling in the past when he was still in his on-and-off courting phase with Chelsy Davy — but the two broke it off after naked pictures of him surfaced after his Las Vegas scandal. Now it looks like the two lovebirds are reconnecting — and using their star power wisely for charity.
USA Today shared news of the famous couples dating plans and rumors they plan to spend a great deal of their time hanging out with their celebrity friends. The major news media source claimed to have the inside scoop on the following:
Harry heads to Lesotho and South Africa for three days starting Monday, on behalf of his African children’s charity, Sentebale.
The trip includes a gala fundraising dinner in Johannesburg on Wednesday.
Then, according to the British press today, he’s accompanying Cressida to Isabella’s wedding to Sam Branson, son of Virgin mogul Sir Richard Branson, who owns a private game reserve in South Africa.
Harry and the younger Branson are friends, charter members in the young-rich-and-titled-British gang they hang with, who have also partied on Branson’s private Caribbean island of Necker.
Detroit Free Press says, “[Cressie] doesn’t just descend from a storied banking family (the Curzons), she has aristocratic bona fides. Mom is ’60s socialite Lady Mary-Gaye Curzon. Her actress half-sister, whose name trounces any of the Downton Abbey Crawley girls in terms of toff appeal, Isabella Anstruther Gough-Calthorpe, was apparently once a crush of Prince William’s.”
The British royals are all known for their dedication to doing humanitarian work. However, they are also all (for the most part) environmentally friendly. Aside from the jet setting, that is… whenever they travel by plane or helicopter they increase their carbon footprint exponentially.
But the dish about Cressie and her charitable works are not as endearing and those of the ginger prince. Apparently the only notable thing she has done for charity is to pledge to donate $20 to one of Princess Eugenie’s fundraisers.
