Maria Menounos and Derek Hough started of the 2012 season of Dancing With The Stars with a kick. The co-host of EXTRA entertainment news was really nervous but had heard such positive things about the reality show dancer cast from her co-star and former dance competitor Mario Lopez that she manned up and agreed to be on the program. After a promising start during week one, the good sport broke two ribs during rehearsal. Always a good sport, she plans to remain in the competition and to work through the pain. Trading football cleats in for his dancing shoes so he can compete for the famous Mirror Ball Trophy on Dancing With The Stars 2012, Driver says he has been watching the show since Evander Holyfield was on the first season. Yes, you read that right — the famous family spends their free time killing wild animals. The famous sons took to Twitter to brag and show photos of their big game hunt, starting a flurry of dark green news reports about what they felt was a game. Celebrity Death: Monkees singer Davy Jones loved horses and humanity
Voted “Cutest Guy” by Nickelodeon for 1986 and 1987, Baby Boomer David Jones (aka Davy Jones, lead singer of 60s band The Monkees) guest starred in episodes of the American television series “My Two Dads” [a show watched by many members of Gen X]. In 1993, fans spotted him guest starring as himself in an episode of the popular “Herman’s Head.” Before that time, he appeared on the hit show of the same name, was nominated for a Tony Award on Broadway, and acted on British TV as a child star. Celebrity Apprentice Arsenio Hall will be playing for the Magic Johnson Foundation, supporting urban youth by focusing on HIV and AIDS prevention for the last 20 years, when the NBA star celeb was diagnosed with HIV back in 1991, shortly before he retired from playing professional basketball. Oddly enough, celebrity death hoax rumors swirled earlier in the year about actor Eddie Murphy, another celebrity friend of Arsenio Hall who played the lead role in Hall’s last memorable hit film Coming To America.
