Now, band member Ringo Starr is speaking out more about the incident. On the 31st anniversary of the musician’s death, his pal has dedicated a new statue to him. The Non Violence Project Foundations says, “2010 marked the seventy year commemoration of John Lennon’s birth as well as the thirty year commemoration of his tragic death. Humanitarian Charlie Sheen razzed for donating money to help homeless?
TMZ razzed charitable actor Charlie Sheen for making efforts to help the homeless while he was on vacation in Mexico shortly after the Thanksgiving Weekend of 2011. They write, “Sporting a Panama hat … that was made in Ecuador … Charlie Sheen hit the streets of Colombia this week … and generously gave a homeless man a 2000 Peso Note!!!!” The site went on to say, “Unfortunately, the Colombian peso isn’t as strong as the dollar these days … not even close … so 2,000 p is only worth about $1.03.” That got us thinking about why the press only reports bad news and rarely talks about Charlie Sheen’s good deeds.
