Election 2012: Trump says Celebrity Apprentice proof he is not racist?
Election 2012!
Donald Trump says Celebrity Apprentice (the reality television show) gives solid proof he is not a racist?
[May 9]
If it’s not a Birther scandal where the awkward green celebrity host of Celebrity Apprentice is accusing the president of the United States of being a Muslim from Kenya, it’s a racism scandal for real estate mogul Donald Trump. Recently people have been criticizing Trump for his attacks on President Barack Obama, and since the release of Obama’s long form birth certificate, Trump has continued to be outspoken in his opposition against the president. Trump appeared on Fox and Friends on FOX News, Monday morning, May 9, 2011, to defend himself.
The billionaire and star celeb Donald Trump pointed to his show, Celebrity Apprentice, as proof that he’s not racist.
The Huffington Post reports Trump as saying:
“I am the least racist person there is,” asserted the potential presidential contender. “And I think most people who know me would tell you that. I am the least racist, I’ve had great relationships.”
A lot of people have come under fire recently for supposedly racist remarks attacking President Obama, but Trump with his high profile has gotten caught up in the whirlwind more than others. The least racist person. The least racist person on the planet? The least racist person considering a bid for the presidency? The least racist person on Celebrity Apprentice? We’re not sure, but he’s the least racist.
Celebrity Scandal: Donald Trump fired from driving Indy 500 pace car?

Donald Trump fired from driving Indy 500 pace car at annual auto race?
[May 7]
Donald Trump is having a difficult time staying away from controversy. The real estate mogul and star of The Apprentice was offered April 5 the opportunity to drive the official pace car for the 100th anniversary of the Indianapolis 500. But now the star celeb and possible contender for the Republican presidential nomination has backed out of the job, saying the race would interfere with the responsibilities involved in considering a bid for the Republican nomination, according to the Indianapolis Star. But is that the whole story?
Sources say Donald Trump’s decision to back out of the pace car honor is more a result of more than 18,000 fans liking a Bump Trump page on Facebook. One Indy fan, Michael Wallack, set up the page April 8 because he feels Donald Trump is not a real fan. Wallack became more upset when Trump started in on the Birther spectacle in reference to President Barack Obama.
Michael Wallack explains in a report by the Huffington Post:
“To me, when they first named Donald Trump, it just felt wrong. He has no relationship to the track, to the race, to racing, to Indianapolis, and I think I would have been bothered anytime with something like that. But to do that on the 100th anniversary, it made no sense.
“Then when he started going off on the birther stuff, that prompted me to do more and that’s when I started the page.”
One blogger, Kent Sterling, even suggests that officials at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway (IMS) actually got cold feet over the mounting opposition and asked Donald Trump to back out. The Indianapolis Star reports from May 4, 2011, that they were considering the backlash of the Facebook page as well as from a group of Baptist ministers who protested Trump’s involvement, calling the celebrity out for his “petulant, poisonous and racist remarks.”
However, Michael Cohen, an executive vice president and special counsel to Donald Trump, told the Indianapolis Star on May 5, 2011, that Trump “doesn’t have a racist bone in his body.” Nevertheless, Cohen did remark that the Facebook page set up by Wallack seems to be a collection of Barack Obama supporters. An aide to Trump also had said earlier in the day that Trump wouldn’t give up the post. Mixed messages?
President Obama on Oprah to refute Donald Trump, hides bin Laden intel?
Elections 2012!
President Obama and First Lady appear on Oprah to discount Trump week before verifying Osama Bin Laden is dead?
[May 1]
President Barack Obama and First Lady Michelle Obama appeared on Oprah just hours after the White House released the long form birth certificate last week, demonstrating that President Obama was indeed born in Hawaii — and not Kenya as both Donald Trump, his own wife, and grandmother had claimed. Some continue to criticize the president, saying that he should have released the birth certificate earlier. But most now have begun pulling their punches about the place of birth at least, and are expected to do so with increasing respectfulness now that Obama has released the information requested by Donald Trump and the Tea Party and he made a formal announcement that Osama Bin Laden is dead.
The president, somewhat jokingly, said that he knew he was born in Hawaii, because he was there and he remembered it. First Lady Michelle Obama cut in: “He was born here,” she exclaimed with a laugh, to a cheering audience. This was said in spite of evidence where long before the candidacy, Michelle Obama had proudly claimed in a public speech cause on video tape that her husband Barack Obama was in fact born in Kenya. And yes — the whole issue, whether you like President Obama or not — is disconcerting to say the least.
Election 2012: Jerry Springer thinks Donald Trump is next Sarah Palin?

Jerry Springer thinks Donald Trump is next Sarah Palin?
[Apr. 23]
Jerry Springer, who once was the mayor of Cincinnati, was ousted from politics because of a relationship with a prostitute. He briefly considered a run for the Senate in 2003, but backed off because of the notoriety of his show, Jerry Springer, a television series which he readily admits is silly — but claims he totally does for the money. But Springer never is far from politics. He was asked recently about his feelings of real estate tycoon Donald Trump possibly running for president in 2012, and he is not exactly kind to the Donald.
PopEater reports:
“Remember when you were a little kid and a wise guy at the back of the class would shout things out?” Jerry asks. “That’s Trump. He makes you laugh and giggle.”
Those are some pretty harsh words about Donald Trump coming from a man like Jerry Springer, who has made his living the last 20 years shocking people and otherwise making people giggle over the antics on his television show, Jerry Springer. If anyone knows what it means to be a celebrity clown, Springer does.
Regarding his own show, Springer tells PopEater:
“It’s so stupid,” he says. “Our niche is outrageous, so we are not competing with anyone. We have cornered the market. It’s total escapism, where we never pretend to be anything we are not. It’s hard to find a job that is this much fun. It keeps me young.”
So what does he have to say about Donald Trump and his eligibility to run for president? He compares Donald Trump, who he calls “the flavor of the month” for Republicans, to the former Republican sweetheart Sarah Palin. Effectively, he has identified that Republicans are trying to paint a new face over the party.
Bill Cosby slams Donald Trump over presidential political scandal?
Celebrity Scandal!
Actor Bill Cosby slammed Celebrity Apprentice host Donald Trump over presidential political scandal public comments?
[Apr. 9]
Green celebrity actor and comedian Bill Cosby knocked tycoon Donald Trump on Thursday’s edition of the Today show during a talk about education. Cosby stunned hostess Meredith Vieira when she mentioned having an upcoming election and that Donald Trump had just been on the show with her.
Donald Trump has been toying with the idea of running for president, but has said he will not announce anything until June 2011. Trump recently has been outspoken with criticism of President Barack Obama over questions of the president’s citizenship.
When the Today show hostess made mention of the upcoming election and that Donald Trump has been considering running, Cosby interrupted and said, “Oh, please with Donald Trump. Take him home with you.”
Asked why he said that, Cosby responded, “Because he’s full of it,” stunning the hostess into several seconds of silence.
The Today show hostess finally got her bearings and countered that Donald Trump has said he is not ready to announce running for president, to which Bill Cosby said that anyone can announce. Cosby made mention of someone on the Smothers Brothers show years ago announcing a run for president.
“You run, or shut up. But the only thing he’s running is his mouth,” Cosby said.
