Twilight Rumors! Kristen Stewart terrified of career failure after filming Twilight Breaking Dawn?
Kristen Stewart has said that her biggest worry right now is neither the filming of Breaking Dawn nor all the hype surrounding her relationship with Twilight co-star Robert Pattinson. KStew is worried that she’ll wind up typecast as Bella in the Twilight series and that no one will take her acting seriously once the series is finished, according to ShowbizSpy.
And it’s hard to blame her. A lot of fans are disappointed that the series would end with the completion of Breaking Dawn and many are hoping that someone will draft a continuation of the series, if only in film. Naturally they’ll want to see stars Kristen Stewart, Robert Pattinson, and Taylor Lautner as the star celebs dynamic dark force trio in action together again.
Although Kristen Stewart starred alongside Jodi Foster in hit film Panic Room (2002) for which she was nominated for a Young Artist Award, according to IMDb, and she also has starred as the daughter of Dennis Quaid and Sharon Stone in Cold Creek Manor (2003), the young Twilight actress is concerned that fans of Bella Swan will not let her ever be Kristen Stewart again (even though she starred as Joan Jett in The Runaways in 2010, well after the Twilight series began filming).
Nevertheless, there are many examples of actors being typecast in roles and never getting far away from the characters that made them famous. One such example is Mark Hamill of Star Wars fame. Following Star Wars, the famed Luke Skywalker turned to voice acting in a number of animated pictures, according to IMDb, most famously as the voice of The Joker in Batman: The Animated Series and other animated Batman films. He did additional work as a voice actor, and he also had a role as Cock-Knocker in the Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back (2001). In spite of the fact that former Star Wars co-star Carrie Fisher starred in the same film, neither knew about the other’s participation until filming was complete as neither had worked together since Star Wars. Not exactly the career leap he may have been looking for.
So it’s no wonder that Kristen Stewart is a little stressed. Hopefully Bella Swan won’t be her last role. Kristen Stewart plays the bad girl pretty well, as there are plenty of pics out there of her flipping off the paparazzi. Surely someone will put that attitude to work in film in the future and hopefully Twilight will be just the beginning of a stellar career for her. But if not, the starlet’s career may cool off long enough to get fans off the backs of both Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson for a little while and let them have some peace if they really are together.
Actress Kristen Stewart is pet-friendly and a famous humanitarian. She rescued a stray dog while filming Breaking Dawn. She also has used a great deal of that Twilight money to help start a shelter to aid runaway teens who have gotten caught up in a downward spiral careers of working in the sex trades.
