Selena GomezSelena Gomez and Justin Bieber are one of the most famous celebrity couples in Hollywood — despite only being celebrity teens. The lovebirds have been together for the past year now, and the Biebs has been spotted kissing her in public, frolicking with her on a Hawaiian beach, and now his name appears to have been inked on the inside of the Disney Princess’ wrist. Fans of the pop music singers are dying to know — did Selena really tattoo Justin’s name on her arm or was the art simply done in henna or a Sharpie permanent marker as a trial-run tatt?

Huffington Post reports,

Gomez took the stage at the Mandalay Bay Events Center in Las Vegas on Saturday, revealing what looks like a new tattoo.

The singer and actress had the name “Justin” written in black ink on her right wrist.

If the ink is permanent, this seems like a big commitment for the very, young couple.

But perhaps it’s just the beginning if the couple plans to one day make their relationship more permanent as well.

Other star celebs who tattooed their husband or boyfriend’s name (or a wedding date) include Heidi Klum, Angelina Jolie, and Eva Longoria — all green celebrity women known for civic activism. Their passion for life seems to translate over when it comes to commitment to love, shown by their willingness to mar their bodies to show their men they are completely dedicated.

While many people still see tattoos of another person’s name as low-class or faddish, stars in Hollywood who like the artistic value of tattoos and are seeking to quell jealousy seem to resort to body ink to make their relationship (at least on the surface) appear permanent.

Gomez has had death threats for dating Biebs, has endured countless criticisms from other envious teen girls making nasty remarks about her looks, talent, and appearance, and the two have already survived numerous break up rumors. For these reasons, she might be considering getting his name tattooed so people will stop questioning her dedication.

As for his interest in a long-term relationship, the Biebs confessed to tabloid reporters earlier in the month that by the time he is 25 or 26-years-old he’d like to be, “married and starting a family.”

Although that might sound like a young age to be starting to raise pups, Bieber has enough money that he can (technically) manage raising children easily with family support, a stay-at home wife (if she wants), and the help of a bevy of Super Nannies.

Will Selena Gomez be “that girl” who wins his heart and the brass ring with all the glitzy Hollywood trimmings? If she is, its Bieber we think is the luckier of the two.

While Biebs is a humanitarian who partnered with Larry King to host a telethon to raise money for the people of New Orleans most affected by the BP oil spill and has also been donating a portion of his proceeds from the “Someday” perfume line to charity, Gomez has been an active volunteer for charities like UNICEF for years. The green celeb actress and pop music princess is a darling girl, one whose insides seem to be prettier than her outsides.
