Easily one of the least humanitarian celebrity leaders in history, Team America movie character Kim Jong Il suffered an overdose of the Western lifestyle he loved so much. He had diabetes and heart disease, ultimately succumbing to a heart attack. One lesson he failed to learn was one of moderation. It was his excessive policies and excessive control that ruined North Korea. It was his excessive and hypocritical personal taste that ruined him. The Kim Jong-Il dictatorship was long parodied by comedy television programs in the United States. Mad TV was one hit television show in the West that used to make jokes about the communist leader being obsessed with Western culture and loving to perpetrate human rights abuses. The Beatles lost a priceless treasure when John Lennon’s life was stolen from him in a random act of human vs. human gun violence. Now, band member Ringo Starr is speaking out more about the incident. On the 31st anniversary of the musician’s death, his pal has dedicated a new statue to him. The Non Violence Project Foundations says, “2010 marked the seventy year commemoration of John Lennon’s birth as well as the thirty year commemoration of his tragic death.
