Justin Bieber Ladies Perfume?

Biebs celebrity endorsement for charity —

[May 21]

Justin Bieber, star celeb singer and dancer and teeny-bopper heartthrob, is giving his fans a new reason to love him. The Biebs is releasing a new line of fragrances, according to an interview with WWD — and they may or may not smell like his girlfriend and Disney Princess Selena Gomez. The new line of perfume is slated to be called Someday, and we assume it will hit Wal-mart shelves … someday. It is reported to be priced at $35 per bottle and will have a cutesy heart and rose shaped cap, with a dangling charm. Website BellaSugar reports that the scent is a fruity gourmand aimed at teenage girls, and the cap is remarkably similar in style to that of Marc Jacobs Lola.

[Think celebrity moms with expensive taste provoked that marketing decision?]

As if the green celebrity rocker isn’t already under the skins of girls worldwide, he’s getting onto their skin as well. The star already has a line of scented dog tags, nail polish, and singing toothbrushes.

The Biebs seems poised to make sure guys and girls alike will all be looking and smelling the way he likes it by the end of the decade.

But Justin Bieber giving his celebrity endorsement to a girl’s perfume product, seriously? C’mon Biebs…

In reaction to jokes and criticism that the young man is already feminine enough even without his own line of perfume, the green celebrity teen joked back accordingly — noting the reason he even gave his celebrity endorsement to the product in the first place is because one, the way a girl feels about herself when she wears his signature scent will make her feel good about herself while feeling closer to him as a fan and two because a portion of the profits for the Justin Bieber perfume fragrance will go to charity.

According to Celebrity Gossip, Justin Bieber says:

“Let’s be real, the way a girl smells is very important to a guy! I have such a deep connection with my fans, so creating a fragrance that I personally love is another way I can bring them closer to my world.”

Isn’t that sweet — literally. But not to be seen as just any star celeb rocker, this green celebrity ensures that proceeds from sales of his newest line of Biebs wear will benefit charity and not just his bottom line. Pencils of Promise and the Make-A-Wish Foundation both will benefit from the sales of Someday perfume by Justin Bieber, Someday, that is, after the sales and marketing of this green product start to roll in. And that makes Justin Bieber very happy — and when the Biebs is happy, teenage girls all across America are happy.

“Not only am I able to create a fragrance for all my fans, but I am able to give back to charity, which is a huge priority for me. The people at Give Back Brands really get me, and what I represent and care about,” said Justin Bieber.

And, for the ladies who may be skeptical that this is just another marketing stunt put on by some suits that the Biebs never has seen or met with, think again. Justin Bieber has assured that he has maintained a very personal involvement in the development of his new product. It will be like getting to touch the Biebs himself.

“They really let me take the lead on the entire project,” Bieber said, “because I know my fans better than anyone — from working with the team on the development of the fragrance itself to helping to design the bottle and packaging.”

So, look out ladies, you’re going to have the opportunity to get a little touch of the Biebs himself … Someday. And if you are not interested in wearing it yourself, buy a bottle of Justin Bieber perfume for your daughter or granddaughter as a unique gift item… and buy an extra bottle for your gay cousin. Why? Because the money will be well spent if proceeds really do end up going to a good cause.

Plus, we like Justin Bieber — for stepping up to the plate as a green teen celebrity. The Biebs celebrity endorsement for charity?

Smells pretty good to us without a hint of fishiness to the motivations for doing it at all.
