Fans of reality television show X Factor were anxious to see the new Pepsi commercial featuring this year’s winner Melanie Amaro and other big name music celebrities. During the competition, viewers were teased with video clips of old Pepsi commercials showing big name super stars like Michael Jackson and Britney Spears (joking around and over-the top performing to help sell soda). What they got from Pepsi Cola during Super Bowl 2012 was a commercial featuring Elton John, Flavor Flav and Melanie Amaro dressed up like they were a part of a King’s Court. The David Beckham commercial for H&M and Coke polar bears were MUCH cuter. Keep reading…

Madonna Super Bowl half time show shows she is a good sport (#SuperBowl)
Guess I’m getting old, just like my favorite rock stars. More pop than rock, but getting old none the less, Madonna was the musical show at this year’s Super Bowl. Generally speaking the reviews of the half time show has been pretty mixed across social media. To those who speak negatively of the 53 year pop star, we say, chill out, and get a life. For all that is expected, she did quite well. An over choreographed performance of a long career squeezed into 15 minutes. And to top it off she had to share the stage with some of today’s modern stars like rappers Nicki Minaj and M.I.A., and crazy party song group LMFAO. Keep reading…
American Idol judge Steven Tyler sang worst National Anthem in history?
Aerosmith frontman and American Idol judge Steven Tyler has been one of the most talked about rock stars in modern history. But it was not a new song from his rock band or solo tune he’s released that had the internet buzzing. Tyler’s creative rendition of the National Anthem ‘rock ballad style’ at the AFC championship football game had football fans and music critics wondering if he’s been working to earn a paycheck on reality TV because the rock music legend’s voice and on stage antics are no longer epic. But some saw Jimi Hendrix’s version of the Star Spangled Banner as blasphemy, too. Want to watch the video clip and see? Keep reading…
Kim Kardashian replaced in Superbowl commercial by purebred dog?
Kim Kardashian’s career is going to the dogs. At least that what some psychics and critics are saying– like the folks at People Magazine. The reality television star is struggling to keep cash rolling in to fund her empire. As rumors she conned fans into believing she was interested in NBA basketball play Kris Humphries so she could make a big payoff from her wedding day special continue to circulate, some advertisers who had success working with her in the past as a luxury product promoter are actually shying away. One such company is Skechers, an organization that primarily promotes their moderate price line of footwear. Keep reading…
American Idol Scotty McCreery has a bromance crush on NFL star Tim Tebow
American Idol winner Scotty McCreery fan might not be a fan of the Denver Broncos, but he certainly had flattering things to say about Tim Tebow while he watched football on Sunday January 9th, 2012. Tebow’s name went on fire when presidential hopeful Rick Perry (the Governor of Texas) gave him big props during the presidential GOP debates a few weeks ago. The republican tried to compare himself to the winner — but fumbled in his speech again. After trying to come off as cute, Christian, and quick witted he botched his attempt at glib jibe. Scotty McCreery pulled of complimenting Tim Tebow the right way, however. On Twitter. Keep reading…
Wrestling legend Macho Man Randy Savage dead and gone but not forgotten
Macho Man Randy Savage was one of the wrestling greats. He and good friend Hulk Hogan battled their way through fights on WWF and WWE back in the 80s and 90s like nothing could stand in their way. In 2011, Randy Savage was killed in an unfortunate car accident after his heart gave out while driving on a Florida interstate. Hulk Hogan was still very much alive and putting his heart into a legal battle with ex-wife Linda Bollea. Did the Snap Into A Slim Jim commercial celebrity athlete have a better take on women than the Hulkster while he was still alive? He divorced Miss Elizabeth and died happily married to another lady.
